Fanviva Z-28 ran through downtown, of the infinite city and ran into a lamppost for the third time. "Damn shit! I just want to go for a walk," he yelled. "Shall I help you, sir?" someone who sounded like a child asked. Z-28 felt like he was blushing and said, "Sorry kid, I didn't mean to swear. Anyway, what's your name?" The little boy answered: "Little F, at least that's what a good friend calls me." "Of course you can help me, little F," answered Z-28 to the first question. Little F took his hand and asked him where he was going. "Just go a few shops and then back home," replied Fanviva Z-28. He gave the little one his shopping list and off they went. After a while, Little F asked, "How did they end up being blind anyway?" "That's a long story, but if you're dying to hear it," said Z-28. "Oh yes, definitely!" Little F said immediately. Z-28 sighed, "OK kid, if you really want to hear it then I'll tell you. My parents, or at least that's what I called them, were scientists working to create the ultimate soldier. They were given this task because ten years earlier they had created artificial life." With these words, he pointed to himself. "I was also created in the laboratory," said little F. Fanviva stroked his hair and continued his story: "Anyway, they ended up using me as a test subject. In the first test, they applied so much energy that atomic radioactivity was released. They burned up in seconds before my eyes." "Sir, that makes 85 coins," said a cashier. Z-28 showed him a card where Meh Mask was marked, the cashier bowed and gave him the items just like that. As they exited the store, Little F asked, "You're from the Masked Council?" Fanviva Z-28 said, "Yeah, we'll get to that, better take the card so I won't be interrupted again. Well, they burned up before my eyes and since no one turned off the machine, I was trapped in it for a year. That's how I got all the scars all over my body. When I finally got out, they put me in a padded cell and tried to understand what stimuli did to me. Well, they found out that I react very strongly to stimuli, and then emit atomic energy. So they gave me a drug that suppresses stimuli, which I still take to this day. I was 11 years old at the time, at 15 I was sent to a regular school and mostly left alone by the scientists. When I turned 17, however, I started being bullied, I just wanted to die. One day I forgot to take my meds, that day my bullies threatened me with a knife and before I knew I was getting scared. Boom. Blast from me, I've wiped out all life in my universe. For all the effort, I lost my eyesight forever. Well, you can't say wiped out, rather transformed in callous killer machines. I called them freaks." "All dead? Just like that?" asked little F. Z-28 said: "Yes, just like that. And when I was 18, V-87 came and brought me here to the infinite city. I thank him to this day, wherever he may be. I don't think he's dead. Do you?" "I don't know. Anyway sir, here's your map, we're at the train station, you know the way from here, don't you?" said little F. Fanviva Z-28: "You little one has what it takes to be a hero. such a good heart See you, wait, what am I talking about, I meant we'll see each other again soon, hopefully." The station announcement boomed: "Train is approaching, please stand back."
