Third Person, Thalia centered
Dear Carl,
First of all, I want to start by saying I am fine. I know by now Lucas had told you what happened, I know he stopped you from coming here and he forced you to stay put (my doing) but I promise it's for the best.
Lily says I look halfway dead and I honestly feel like it, if you saw me like this it'd bring you more fear than comfort.
I'll be back in a week I hope, my heart rate is settling back to normal and my sores are clearing up. The point is I'm okay, so please get some sleep and eat when you can.
I want you to know that this does not prove your point, and if you think it does I won't come back.
I just hate the way you perceive me as weak, I'm capable of taking care of myself.
The fight we had before was a lot but I don't want it to be lost in the past few weeks, we still need to talk.
So please for the love of god don't come here, stay at Hilltop or Alexandria but don't come. I'll see you soon.Thalia.
The girl sighed taking the page and crumbling it into a ball in her fist, tossing it aside and beginning to scribble more words into the page.
Dear Carl,
I'm okay, I promise you that. the doctor says so, i'm sorry you can't come here but please believe me it's for the better. i love you, tremendously.
See you soon.Thalia
Folding the page up she held it out in front of her for the girl to grab, taking the paper she opened it up eyes reading over the words.
"What a way with words you have," Lily scoffed rolling her eyes and sticking the paper into her back pocket.
"I don't like confrontation, just give it to him and emphasize his inability to come here."
Thalia shifted on the bed placing a hand on her stomach and wincing as she held back a cough, her back still hurting from the last one.
"If you insist, I'll be back later on," she saluted the younger before leaving the room.
Within the last weeks she had made herself at home in the small room, her clothes were scattered against the walls and folded neatly. Across the room at the desk she had her books and journal set up, the only motivation that got her out of bed in the morning.
It had been the only place she was allowed, for the time being, that and the bathroom across the hall plus the main examination room.
So far her recovery had been going well, walking was easier now and breathing wasn't as incapacitating.
