“I’m sorry to say this, but I’m going to kill you.”
“I will never give up until I’ve killed you.”
“I’m too pretty to get blood on me, but I’m going to kill you.”
“Hmm, that’s a good ide—I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!”
“Hahahahahahaha. I’m going to kill you.”
“Don’t worry, it won’t hurt when I kill you.”
“You ass. I’m going to kill you.
“You effing snot-nosed lily-livered rat, go boil your head in a bucket of pee BEFORE I LOP OFF YOUR UGLY FACE AND KILL YOU!!!!!!”
Mr. Dominus sighed. He had expected this, mostly. Even the gentlest girl had threatened to kill him. It wouldn’t matter. They would never get a chance to even try. They would never leave that place. His thin mouth turned up in a grim smile. He had finally disposed of them. No one would ever topple his throne! He laughed maniacally.
“Mwahahahaha!”
Little did he know, a certain troublemaker was on the other side of that door. She wrinkled her nose.
“Freaking weirdo.”
Wherever he may send her, no one was ever going to crush Sparky Tan’s fire. Flames danced in her eyes, and across her palms. No one. She was going to show everybody who’s boss.
Blaze Laroux leaned back in his chair. His lackeys surrounded him, and the last girl he screwed constantly sent trying-to-be seductive glances his way. Urgh, he shuddered. Apparently he still had to attend class even though it was his last day. It wasn’t like he had anyone to say goodbye to. What he really wanted to do before he got sent to the hellhole was getting wasted. His amber eyes turned to the ceiling, not even noticing the icy glares from the girl behind him.
Delta Glasspool mulled it in her mind. She had seen that stupid guy Blaze come out of Mr. Dominus’s office before her. She had expected the worst. It was worse than the worst. It was hell. Delta had never cursed, but this was the most appropriate time. She was going to be sent to a confinement house with seven other people at Lacertus Academy, School for the Elemental. The headmaster said the names slowly, like pouring oil. Her spirit sank lower and lower with every honeyed syllable. They wouldn’t be able to return until—it sounded like a half-baked cliché—they “learned to get along and cooperate.” Delta groaned inwardly. For once, she wasn’t paying attention to Ms. Thyme. She glared at the guy in front of her. To think she would have to spend the rest of her life with that ass, she might as well kill herself first.
Fisher Tidings found it oddly hilarious that he would be stuck inside the loony bin with a bunch of crazed maniacs, including that fire chick what’s-her-name. He knew her, but really had terrible memory. Inside, he knew this was nothing to laugh off, but that was what he did, make jokes. But he knew the full truth of the situation. This was a total crap suck situation.
Stormy Aliento was mad. She could not believe that the headmaster had manipulated her so easily. He actually made it sound like being doomed to eternal damnation was going to be great! At least she came to her senses. Not like that would change the situation. She rubbed her face tiredly. Oh god, she thought, what have I done to deserve this? She jumped out of her seat when the boy next to her smirked, “You really don’t know?”
Jet Keria knew what was up. They weren’t really sending him to that place with those people—oh no! He was too handsome for that. No one could touch him. He smiled to himself, complimenting his obviously superior air powers. They were probably sending him to a special school for other epically super people like him. If there was anyone like him. Jet knew he was one of a kind. He stared out the window, thinking of the possibilities.
