Protected (ghost x fem reader)

Chapter 2

As you walked closely to your door you opened the door a crack to see a tall man. About 6,5 wearing a standard regular tuxedo along with....a skull mask?. You backed away slightly peering your through and looking at the man on your porch. You and him locked eye contact and before you could speak he spoke up.

" Is this y/n l/n's property by chance?"
The man's voice was smoky and deep with a British accent. His eyes a dark brown scan over you. You were hesitant to answer as you didn't know who he was or why he was at your door.

you can't help but be a tad bit intrigued by his unconventional attire. He stands tall and confident, dressed in a sleek black tuxedo. Yet, there's an unexpected twist to his ensemble. A skull balaclava on his head, adding an air of mystery. It's a striking contrast.To complete his ensemble, he wears a tactical vest and holds a rifle. hinting at a hidden strength and preparedness beneath the refined exterior.

You were still very hesitant in his presence but you decided to speak anyway.
" yes...is there a reason why you're here?.."
You questioned as you held your towel with one hand and the other had the taser in it , getting prepared to attack regardless of the man's tough exterior.
" Your father f/n l/n has sent me on a personal mission to be your bodyguard."
He answered with a firm bluntness.
As he spoke you saw a message pop up on your google earth tablet screen that was displayed on the wall and you saw it was a message from your father.

'Hi honey , the plan has arrived at your door. He will be staying with you from now on , theirs already a place set up for him in the back of your house and he will be on guard 24/7 , love ya'
As you finished reading the message you sighed and looked back at the man.
" Do you have a name ?"
You questioned as you fixed your towel that covered your now dry and bare body.
" Call me Ghost."
He said in a monotonous manner noticing how you had a taser with you.

"What's with the mask?"
You asked as you opened the door more for him. His eyes linger on you for a moment before keeping eye contact with you again. He just glared at you and you nodded, talking that as a hint that he didn't want to speak about it. He looked rough around the edges , you didn't want to be rude but since you two were going to be in each other's presence from now on you had at least some right to be curious, right ?.

As ghost enters your home he follows behind you closely but keeps a good two feet behind you. He looked around taking in the nicely decorated rooms and walls.
" So uh..I assume you know where to sleep ? Got you set up in the back of the house , you can go through the kitchen back to get to it."
You spoke as you walked closer to your room.
Ghost let off an affirmative nod and as you walked into your room he stood outside it keeping guard.

You watched as he stood outside presumably doing his job and you closed the door leaving it open and sought crack and you out your taser on your nightstand and As you prepare to wind down for the night, you stepped into your cozy haven, your bedroom. The soft, warm glow of the lamp casts a gentle light, creating a serene ambiance as you carefully select your pair of pajamas, their familiar look bringing a comforting sense. As you slip into them you felt more comfortable.

Every so often you'd look out the sliver crack from your door to still see ghost standing at attention. Keeping eyes forward and alert.
You felt a little weary of him , you knew your father had gotten you the best of the best but it still made you uneasy knowing you'd still be vulnerable no matter what.

For one's trust has no choice and no bounds but now it's inevitable till the days reach its rounds.
