"an artists brush can be like a Ninja's sword, swift and deadly at times when needed, but can also be like a butterfly, sweet and gentle,it all depends on how you use it hitaki"
My father says to me, he's wearing his black and gold Cloak with green robes underneath, his amber eyes focusing on me with judgement,he was the most traditional of our family, more so than grandfather."I understand father"I reply,I felt annoyed by the lecture but knew better than to express it, that would have to wait until later.
,For now I watch him with envy as he goes back to his painting, it's a beautiful one of a forest with 4 people in it,two are my father and mother who are Japanese, the other two are American and friends of my parents, they play a game of chase and tap, more commonly known as tag in some countries,I then go back to my painting,it is not close to being as good as my father's, but my mother seems content and so does father, in mine, those same people are walking home from the woods, chatting and laughing, there are many tree's still, but most are cleared out."Father?" I ask "why do we recreate this story again and again?" He smiles and sets his brush down professionally."because it is a memory I cherish, and an easy one for you to recreate, here take a piece of paper and pencil for example,it can be easy to draw on there this same memory, but it is less difficult and thus your skill at drawing can become faulty, drawing memories are important for us,it can help us relive those moments, one day you will have memories of your own to paint, would you not want to have every detail,or would you rather it be sloppy and easy to turn around?, this is why I have you do this, you make me proud with how well you've gotten, keep it up and you'll one day be perfect in your art" I nod and smile, understanding the lesson,I look forward to the day I paint my memories too.

Hello everyone, how are ya? Another great short story for you, this one of a Japanese father and son who are painting memories,I really enjoyed making this, and I hope you enjoy it too, what's the hidden lesson for once?
One: practice makes perfect
Two: making art of your memories can help you to relive them
Three: your style of art can be as sharp as a blade, or as wool

This is all I got rn,I look forward to making another one of these, and until next time, have a good day/night/whenever it is for you -Mozarella
