Jisoo's throat tightened as she realized the truth of Taehyung's words. He was right, and deep down, she knew it too. She had been the one who made the decision to leave three years ago.

She turned around, ready to leave, but before she could take a step, he reached out and held her hand.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she turned to face him once more. His eyes were red, his anger palpable.

"You need to accept your fate and let go of the past!" He spoke with a commanding tone, his voice echoing in the room.

"No one will harm our son, I swear it! Now understand this: you are back here, and this time, there won't be a way for you to leave," he nearly shouted, his words laced with determination.

She pulled him closer, her eyes locked onto his. "How can I trust you?" she questioned, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "How can I believe that there won't be any more secrets?"

His jaw clenched, and he met her gaze with intensity. "You knew everything," he replied, his voice edged with a mix of frustration and accusation.

She let out a dark chuckle, a hint of bitterness in her tone. "Oh, did I?" she retorted, a hint of sarcasm in her words.

His eyes darkened further, a storm brewing within them. "Starting from tomorrow, everything will return to the way it was, and you will follow my lead," he asserted firmly.

She raised an eyebrow, a defiant glint in her eyes. "And what makes you believe that?" she challenged, her voice holding a mixture of skepticism and defiance.

"Your love for Dalia" he said with a knowing smirk, and a shiver ran down her spine. With those words hanging in the air. h

He turned and left the room, leaving her with a tumult of emotions and thoughts. Taking a deep breath, she focused on calming herself down.

The room around her seemed to hold the weight of the intense conversation, and she needed a moment to collect her thoughts and emotions.

As the light filtered in, casting a soft glow, she closed her eyes briefly, allowing herself a moment of respite.

Raven entered the room as soon as Taehyung left, her concern evident in her eyes. "I hope you're okay," she asked gently.

Jisoo managed a strained smile. "I'll take Adrian and go to my house. You can have some time alone," Raven suggested.

With that, Adrian and Raven left, leaving Jisoo to process the whirlwind of emotions that had just unfolded.

"Coming in," Euan responded, setting his book aside as he heard a knock on the door. He was engrossed in his reading but was ready to engage with whoever was seeking his attention.

"Long time no see," the familiar voice reached his ears, and Euan's heart skipped a beat. His eyes widened with surprise, and he felt a rush of emotions flood over him.

His hands itched to reach out, to embrace the person he hadn't seen in so long. His eyes started to water as he struggled to contain the overwhelming flood of feelings that surged within him.

He fought to regain his composure, his emotions momentarily pushed aside. "What do you want?"

Euan asked with a controlled tone, trying to appear unaffected even though a whirlwind of questions and emotions churned within him.

He needed to maintain a facade of indifference, despite the flood of feelings that threatened to overwhelm him.

"You don't want to give your sister a hug?" the voice persisted, a mix of playfulness and underlying emotions evident.

The words struck Euan like a lightning bolt, his carefully constructed indifference wavering for a moment as he grappled with the unexpected reunion.

"Adoptive sister" he corrected with a hint of formality. He watched her closely, his heart aching at the sight of her eyes welling up with emotion as she chuckled.

The complexity of their relationship, the shared history, and the years of separation seemed to hang heavily in the air between them.

She took a step towards him, her intention clear in her movements - a hug, a connection to bridge the gap between their past and their present.

However, he instinctively stepped back, creating a physical distance between them."Euan," she began, her voice soft with a mixture of hesitation and determination

But he cut her off abruptly. "Get straight to the point," he demanded, his tone reflecting his impatience and a desire for clarity.

"That's not how you talk to your sister!" she scolded, frustration tinging her words.

"An adoptive sister who left me all alone without any explanation three years ago," he retorted, his voice laced with a mix of hurt and anger.

The years of separation and the unaddressed pain had created a rift that was palpable in their tense exchange.

"Let me explain," she pleaded, her voice carrying the weight of her own emotions and the need to bridge the gap that had formed between them.

He shook his head roughly, a vehement rejection of her plea. His eyes were brimming with unshed tears.

His face flushed with a mix of intense emotions that he struggled to contain.

The pain of the past was etched across his features, and it was clear that their reunion was stirring up a storm of conflicting feelings within him.

"Euan-" she started, her voice trailing off as he abruptly left the room.

She watched him go, knowing that the flood of emotions he was struggling with might lead him to seek solace in her arms.

Just as they had done countless times in the past. The door closed behind him, leaving the room heavy with unresolved tension and unspoken words.

She ruffled her hair in frustration, a gesture that mirrored the tangled mess of emotions and situations in her life.

The weight of her choices, the complexities of her relationships, and the turmoil she had returned to were all crashing down on her, leaving her feeling overwhelmed and lost.
