We romanticized the highs and we forget that the lows are so very low.
They said love is blind,
And for the times our eyes aren't shut and our hearts aren't misleading us
We put the past behind us.
Progression. But the problem with him in your rear view mirror, is that we hit retrograde. Has it gone extinguished, or am I carrying your burdens still?
Everytime I look over, I find you sitting next to me. You snuck back in with a hello, and I didn't have the decency to drive far enough that the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" message wouldn't apply.
Departure can't be temporary and fleeting.
