Ashley

I could feel my heart pounding violently, a nervous bead of sweat dropped slowly down my neck. Stefan had managed to lock me against his bedroom door, and my heart raced as I searched his expression for some clue to his intentions. Unfazed, Stefan's expression revealed nothing of his thoughts. I could feel his warm breath against my skin, and his hand rested on the side of my head, keeping me trapped against the door. This was a position I had never imagined myself being in.

"Why are you here?" Stefan's voice finally broke the silence, sending a chill down my spine as his eyes met mine.

I struggled to speak. my voice caught in my throat as I looked at his bare muscular torso so close to my face. "I- I was looking for you," I finally managed to say, my knees weakening as my gaze shifted towards his powerful hand near my head. My mind struggled to think straight, and I felt my body grow hot at the thought of being so close to him. Fear and desire flooded my body at the same time as I struggled to maintain my composure.

I searched his face, trying desperately to figure out what he was thinking.

"Do you usually look for me in my room?" Stefan's words cut through the air, each one sounding more like a threat than a question. His calm tone and expressionless face only heightened the tension in the air, making me wonder if I had made a mistake by coming inside his room.

"N- No," I said, trying to sound convincing but feeling the tension in the air grow stronger by the second. I tried to get away from him, but Stefan had other ideas. Suddenly, his other hand pressed against the door, trapping me even more as I remained stuck in place. I could feel the heat of his bare torso pressed up against me, my body becoming more aware of the situation, the fear and arousal filling my body.

With both of his hands pressing gently, but firmly against the door, trapping me inside, I felt a wave of butterflies in my stomach as I realized I wasn't going anywhere until he let me go.

I tried to escape his gaze as it took him a few moments before he spoke up again. "What are you doing here Ashley." His tone sounded dark and seductive as he spoke, and my heart skipped a beat as I felt his eyes on me.

My heart fluttered in my chest, and my body was completely overcome with the desire to touch him.

"Can you give me some space, please?" I implored him, trying to calm myself down as my anxiety peaked.

The sarcasm in his reply only added to my stress, and I couldn't help but notice how close his body was to mine.

"Can you not avoid answering me?" Stefan replied, his tone darkening as he leaned in closer, his body almost touching mine.

"I told you, I was looking for you. I wanted for us to..." I didn't finish my sentence before Stefan cut me off, his eyes darkening and a small smirk spreading across his face.

"To what?" His tone was now full of dark innuendo. He must know how flustered I was right now, and yet, he seemed to be enjoying it. His dark smirk and the shameless way he looked down at me left me feeling my breathing quicken as I felt the weight of his gaze on me.

"To...make progress on our interviews." I stuttered out, the heat in my cheeks rising as I felt his eyes on my face. "I only managed to get little answers from you," I added hastily, trying to hide the blush on my cheeks as I spoke.

I felt embarrassed that he knew I had been in his room, and at the same time, I couldn't help but feel a tingle of excitement as he looked at me with a smile.

"Oh? And that was so urgent for you to invade me?" he asked, with a teasing tone in his voice that told me I had walked into a situation without realizing the seriousness of it. I felt myself blush at the use of the word "invade," but I couldn't deny the truth in his words. I had invaded his privacy, no doubt about it.
