Chapter 3: Sunday

Isa woke up and saw Em lying next to her with almost no clothes luckily she wasn't naked. Isa realised what happened and started to dress up, she picked her clothes and didn't know what to do.

"Em? Are you waken up?"

"What?"

"Em.. Did we? You know. Make out?"

"What?"

"Are you drunk? Oh well you can't go home you need to rest for a while."

Jacob opened the door to see her best friend half naked with Emma in bed

"ISA?!"

"Stop yelling okay? I didn't know what happened maybe we didn't do it I don't know."

Emma laughed "Yea we did. You don't remember?"

Isabella knew what she did she remembers every moment and everything she has done, but couldn't believe it.

"Yea I think, I think I remember"

Jacob shutted the door and went down stairs. "Jacob? What the hell?" Shouted Isabell, she got dressed and went after him. "Jacob what happened? Are you mad or something?"

"No Isa I'm not, I am just disappointed."

"Why? Because I made out with a girl? Are you jealous or something?"

"YES, I am, 2 years Isa 2 years."

"I don't understand, what 2 years?"

"I was in love with you, the day we started to be friends. But I was too afraid to tell you, so I waited. I see now that it was a mistake."

"You.. loved me?" Said Isabella confused "Yes Isa I did, and I still do."

Isabella didn't know what to say, Jacob is her best friend nothing more, she didn't feel the same way for Jacob as he did for her.

''I thought you loved me and that we would be together.'' 

''Stop being mad at me for wanting different future.''

''It's not your future if you're pretending to be someone else.''

"I'm really sorry Jacob but, I don't feel the same way."

Jacob started to have tears in his eyes ''I couldn't sleep, every damn night I thought about you, how you smiled at me, how you called me almost every night, how I really thought you felt the same way about me. You know Isa, I wanted to tell you I love you tonight but you were too busy dancing with Emma.''

''Jacob, I'm really sorry, but it's not my fault that you were too afraid to tell me. I think it's best to give you some space, Emma and I will go to my place.''

''Yeah? to make out one more time, right?''

''Jacob, stop it, she's too drunk to do anything, I just let her sleep in my bed until she sobers up.''

She took Emma and her clothes and put her on the seat of her car.

''Isabell?''

''Yes?''

''Where are we going?''

''To my place, my parents aren't home so it's fine, sorry that I talked you into drinking.''

''It's okay, I had really good time.''

Isabell turned on her playlist on the radio and suddenly the song Daylight started playing. Isabella began to cry as she remembered Jacob looking at her with anger, sadness and love all at the same time. How he loved her for years but she never noticed. Emma fell asleep and Isa looked at her and smiled, thinking how pretty she was when she sleeps.
