Peter's POV
I woke up with my arms still wrapped around Cianna's waist. It's really early in the morning so she'll probably be asleep for a little while longer. I get up tying not to wake her and I succeed. I need to make sure my plan is set. I flew over to the skull rock to check on the hourglass. It still had a lot of sand left and it looked like a had months left, maybe a couple years. I don't like this at all. If I don't get the heart of the truest believer I will die when the hourglass runs out.
I sigh to myself just thinking about death. I don't want to get older, because every person that gets old dies someday, and I don't want to. I think back to Cianna. Living here forever with her without any problems. That would be nice; but too bad everything that goes well in my life ends up turning into a disaster. I fly back to the tree-house and notice that Cianna is still asleep. I walk into the room with all the maps, charts, and books. I'm going to put this little mission on hold for a little bit so I'm not constantly focusing on it.
I walk outside to see Cianna talking with Felix. I wave at her and she gets up and walks towards me. I wrap my arms around her pulling her into a hug and she hugged back. "You don't normally act like this in the mornings," she giggled. "Is there something that you're not telling me?"
"No," I lied. "Everything's fine."
She smiled and walked away. I have to figure this out soon. Sooner or later we all hear footsteps walking towards camp. I told everyone to stay while I went to go see who it was. "You just don't know when to go away do you?" I asked as he attempted to walk towards me but I made him and his crew stop walking.
"Aye, and you still won't tell the rest of the lost boys what your planks when that hourglass is almost empty," Hook said.
"I'm still trying to figure that out," I yelled and Hook smirked. Someday I will kill him.
"And what's going to happen when you're on the edge of death and your little lost girl doesn't have a clue, and then poof you're gone." I was done talking to this bastard. I wrapped my hand around his throat and started choking him.
"You will not say a word other or any of the lost boys, or I swear I will kill you," I said and I let go. Him and his crew just walked away after that. I was glad that they left but now what? I walked back to where all the lost boys and Cianna were and I called Felix over.
"What do you need?" Felix asked walking towards me and I could see Cianna with a concerned look on her face.
"The hour glass has a predictable amount of time left. Maybe a few months or close to a year, I don't know."
"Okay? What do you want me to do about that?" Felix looked at me.
"You are not to tell anyone about this. None of the lost boys, not Cianna, nobody."Felix nodded and walked away. I flew back tithe skull rock to take another look at the hourglass. Once I got there I saw Cianna standing in front of the hourglass. How'd she even know about this place? "Ci-Cianna, what are you doing here?" I stuttered. She turned around turned around with a shy smile on her face.
"I know the fairy tale of you Peter, I know about Skull Rock," she smiled, but her smile soon faded as she started to talk again. "But what's this hourglass for?"
At this point everything in my body is numb. I can't feel a thing. I can't tell her what it is because I don't want her to worry but I don't want her to become suspicious either. "Um, don't worry about it Cia. Just go back to the forest."
"No, I won't. Please Peter just tell me what this is and I'll-"
Then everything went dark.
