Diana's POV.
Everyone looked at me and groaned.
"Just great! Our only hope for survival is in love with the reason we're all suffering!" Noa rolled her eyes.
"Please tell me you're joking and you're not actually the sheriff." Patricia huffed. I looked at my feet.
"I guess we aren't getting anywhere tonight. We'll just have to wait until morning to vote him out." Brunette spoke.
"Guys please! He... He could have his reasons." I trembled.
"You're defending him now?? You do realize that you're on opposite teams! He's got to go... I'm sorry." Iru sighed.
"No he doesn't! We can all pitch in and break out of here!" I cried.
"Diana, if you cared about all of our safety, you'd do what is best." Chris sighed. I didn't know what to think. Theodor Andrei. Theodor Octavian Andrei. The love of my life. The most caring, kind, selfless person I've ever known. The one who's been there for me forever.... He killed someone. I don't know if it was against his own will, but even if it wasn't, my heart wouldn't let me hurt him. He pulled me out of the darkness when I was struggling.... He was always there for me, and I was always there for him.
I couldn't handle this! Theodor means so much to me. I burst out of the room in tears. I slammed my door shut and began to bawl. Why? Why did this have to be real? Why couldn't I just wake up in my bed and realize that this is all just a dream?
Suddey, I heard a knock on my door.
"Can I come in?" A voice asked.
"Who is it?" I trembled.
"It's Victor." He said.
Victor's POV.
I sighed. I knew Theodor was the murderer, but I also knew what they didn't.... His Intentions. He didn't want to do this! I know because I've heard the conversations between him and Luke Black through the door of his room. Theodor didn't mean any harm. I remembered that Luke was in the room when Diana admitted to being the sheriff! I had to find Reiley.
I eventually found him in his room, messing with a pillow feather.
"Hey, Reiley. You have to save Diana tonight." I spoke.
"Why? Theodor wouldn't kill her." Reiley replied.
"Theodor wouldn't, but his teammate might." I said.
"Good point." Reiley pointed out. "I'll save her. Just because Theodor killed Blanca doesn't mean we should let his girlfriend suffer."
"But he didn't want to. Lu- I mean the other murderer talked him into it. He didn't kill David either, and he didn't try to kill me. It was the other murderer who did that." I spoke.
"How do you know?" Reiley asked me.
"I'm the psychic for one, and for two, I heard Theodor and his teammate talking in his room." I spoke.
"Oh, well maybe you should tell Diana that." Reiley said.
"Y-yeah. Maybe I should." I spoke. "So you'll save Diana tonight?"
"Yes." Reiley spoke.
"Thank you." I smiled. "I'm off to Diana's room now."
"Alright." Reiley smiled as I left...
Diana's POV
"Come in." I trembled. Victor opened the door.
"Are you.... Gonna be okay?" He asked.
"I don't know... There's no way Theodor's behind this. He's too... He's too innocent." I quivered.
"Diana, I know it may seem like he wanted this to happen. I know it may seem like he's the bad guy, but he's really not. He never wanted to do this. His teammate has been forcing him to." Victor replied.
