Mid Summer Rain

(Bird Chirping)

"Ughmmm~"

Wahhh ~ waking up on a summer morning never gets any better you hear the birds chirping & you feel the warm sunlight on your skin...this is my typical summer morning,perfect isn't it ?

*knock knock*

"Tiffa are you up?"

∩__∩...mom does this everymorning she checks up on me if I'm awake or not then asks me to eat breakfast,she makes the  most delicious mixberries flap jacks and I'm pretty sure that I can smell them right now.

*slowly opens door~

"Tiffa are you up ?"

And when she sees me up she just greets me goodmorning with a bright smile.

"Ohh your'e up come downstairs and eat breakfast with us,your sister's already there waiting"

"Okay mom I just have to wash my face"

"Okay..."

In an instant she leaves and I get to washing my face and fixing my bed before going down quickly.

"Goodmorning Tiffa ∩__∩"

"Goodmorning Scar ∩__∩"

Scar's my sister ('Scar' short for Scarlet) she's older than me by 2 years,she's already in college while I just finished my college entrance exams since I just finished my last year of high school this year and 'am currently enjoying summer as it is.

And if your wondering who 'tiffa' is that's me,short for tiffany,I was born on the month of April mid summer.It's said that I'm one of the rare few to be born in the middle of summer and that rare things would be easily found near me.

"Bye ma,I'm off to school.I'll try to bring back a piece of blueberry cheese cake later when I come back"

And just like that Scar left for school.

"Ohh right tiffa I'm going to have to leave early today I have a meeting at 1...well if that's okay with you?"

"Ohh okay"

"Well if it's not okay I can just move it to ano-"

I hugged mom and said.

"I'm fine mom just go...I'll be up in my room if you need anything"

Then I went up to my room to get something.

"Here ma use this incase it rains...just incase"

I gave her the umbrella I took.Since it's summer it's really hot and midsummer is already here so it might rain...you never know.

...

"Tiffa~"

I suddenly heard mom call me.

"I'm off to my meeting now"

I rushed dowstairs to see her off.

"Well...I'm off now honey,but if you want I could just stay"

"No ma I couldn't delay you,I uderstand how important this is to you"

"But-"

"Ma I'll be fine (∩_∩) it's okay"

Mom's been always like this since Dad passed away,but I guess it really is my fault why she's acting too concerned about me.

*Falshback*

"Daddy hurry it's going to start raining soon"

It's almost my birthday and at the same time mid summer rain is going to start soon enough,but even so today was the day that dad and I picked  to go out and take a stroll in the neighborhood then to the market where we'd buy my fav hotcakes.
