I sighed in annoyance as I hung up the phone and placed it on the counter , my friend (Y/F/N) had basically just forced me to hang out with them for Halloween even though I had told them I was busy that night.

'god why can't they go by themselves?' I thought as I walked into my kitchen and started to cook dinner for myself since it was around 7:00,

They had told me they would pick me up at 8:00, so I still had an hour to eat and get ready.

I wasn't gonna wear a costume and neither were they so I had just picked out one of my old jean jackets and a pair of ripped jeans with an AC/DC shirt and black Nike sneakers.
(If you don't like it you can pick something else to wear)

I finished making dinner and ate and then started to get ready since it was now 7:30.

After eating I heard a knock on the door and went back down stairs after I finished getting dressed.

I opened the door and my friend (Y/F/N) was there to greet me.

"hey y/n!, Look I know you were busy tonight but we really wanted to hang out with you" my friend said as we hugged and walked to the car.

"It's fine, it's good to take a break sometimes,plus I need to get out more anyway." I said as I hopped in the passenger seat and they got into the driver's side. We started driving down the road and stopped a little while later at the store so we could get snacks,

Once we got into the store we split up and went into different isles to see what snacks/drinks we could find,

Once we got our stuff we paid for it and got back into the car and drove off.

Earlier before my friend had picked me up they had told me they were also gonna pick up my other friend (Y/O/F/N),We had finally pulled into my friend (Y/O/F/N) driveway and they walked out of there front door and got in, "Hey (Y/F/N)!, oh.. hey y/n" they said as they smiled at my friend but gave me a nasty look as they got in the car.

I gave them a nervous wave as I sat in the back and looked out the window, me and my other friend ( Y/O/F/N) weren't really that close since they were more of Y/F/N) friend instead of mine. So they never liked me for some reason.

After about 15 minutes of driving we pulled over to the side of the road and got out, I looked around confused because I didn't know were we we're at.

"Hey um guys.. were are we?" I asked confused as I looked around the dark woods and took in my surroundings since they were new to me.

"Oh well we um thought it would be cool to take a walk in the woods since it's Halloween" my friend (Y/F/N) said as they looked at my other friend and they both grinned at each other.

"Oh ok" I said as we all started walking,

Not even 5 seconds into walking I heard them start running the other way, I turned around and watched as they got in the car and giggled as they drove off and yelled and laughed at me through the open windows.

I stared at the car as I watched it drive off down the road until I couldn't see it anymore.

I stood there frozen in shock and fear as I realized I was in the middle of nowhere all alone, the only good thing was that I had my phone with me,

But the bad thing was that I didn't have service or wifi so I couldn't call for help.

I sighed and felt a tear run down my cheek,

'i knew they never really liked me' i thought as I finally realized how toxic our friendship actually was,

I looked down at my phone and saw it was now 9:00 and sighed again as I whipped the tears from my face and started to walk down the road in the direction they drove off into,

I didn't know were I was at so I didn't know were to even go from here, I kept walking thinking to myself about how I was gonna get back home.
