I slowly opened my eyes. I'm still in the same room as I was for the past few weeks.
"You awake, now?" I heard a voice from my right side, and I slowly nodded.
"Need anything?" he asked. I slightly turned my head to see the man who's been spending his days with me here.
He started caressing my right cheek, and I just kept my serious face, although I am starting to feel quite good with those soft touches he's giving me.
"I don't want to leave you." I struggled as I said those words. The right side of his lips slightly went up.
"Don't worry, just rest up, okay? I'm just here." He smiled brightly, but I know he's already holding back his tears. So I gave him a small smile.
"Should I prepare something for you?" he asked again, ready to stand up and get something for me.
"No, I just want to sleep. Let's sleep for now, hm?" I held his hand that has been caressing my cheek for quite some time now.
I feel so weak already. He guided my hand back to my side and kept holding it before he replied.
"Okay."
"Gob, let me ask you a favor," I said, a smile still forming on my lips.
"What is it, hm?"
I don't want to go yet, babe. But I really can't stop this anymore. I feel sorry for leaving you. I hope you understand. I still have a lot of unsaid thoughts for you. I love you so much that it hurts me to leave you here, Gob.
I slowly closed my eyes, his face getting blurry in my vision.
"Please, don't wake me up," I got to say before finally letting my sleepiness win over me.
