Shane's P.O.V.
"...take something important, maybe a girl named Elliot, or does she go by Ellie?"
"Listen here you son of a bitch, you fuckin lay a finger on her and I swear to god I'll put a bullet through your head without hesitation. And that's not a threat, it's a promise." I ranted into the as my blood boiled. "No one fucking threatens my family!"
Elliot's P.O.V.
I was just finishing putting on new clothes from my workout when I could hear screaming down stairs. I quickly ran down stairs and followed Shane's voice. I ran to the hall by the front door to see him screaming. "Shane stop!" His friend yelled at him, just to have Shane back hand him across the face. I gasped and Shane's eyes found mine quickly. He hung up and to a towards me, reaching to grab my hand. I pulled hand back and stepped away from him. "Ellie.." He said trying to reach out me again. I hated the feeling that was washing over me and I knew exactly what it was. Fear. I was fearing my own brother...wait scratch that...that wasn't my brother at all. "H-how could y-you just hit h-him? He w-was trying to help c-calm you d-down! I mean h-he has s-stitches!" I mumbled as I stepped towards the guy. "A-are you o-okay?" I stuttered as I cursed myself mentally. "I'm fine." He said and smiled reassuringly. I nodded and moved away from him, I gave a glare to Shane and quickly made my way back to my room.
Ash's P.O.V.
I was sitting on the couch just waiting for Shane to finish the that he got when he started yelling. "Listen here you son of a bitch, you fuckin lay a finger on her and I swear to god I'll put a bullet through your head without hesitation. And that's not a threat, it's a promise. No one fucking threatens my family!" I quickly got off the couch and ran over to where he was. Ellie was there just as fast as I was. My eyes went wide at the sight of her, knowing that Shane probably never acted like this around her, where to me it was almost a normal thing. "Shane stop!" I yelled as I grabbed his shoulder to try and calm him down. The next thing I heard was a gasp as Ellie covered her mouth. Shane back handed me and it fuckin hurt. When Shane heard Ellie gasp he immediately hung up and tried to reach out to her. Ellie's eyes held pain and fear. She didn't know Shane was in a gang, it made sense. When Ellie moved away from him, he looked defeated. "Ellie..." He tried again but she just looked at him. It was like she was afraid his touch would hurt her. "H-how could y-you just hit h-him? He w-was trying to help c-calm you d-down! I mean h-he has s-stitches!" She stuttered. It brought back memories of that night in the hospital. Shane didn't know what I said to her about her stutter, I feel like an ass. "A-are you o-okay?" She questioned as she walked over to me. "I'm fine." I nodded and smiled. She nodded and quickly walked to her room. "Ash I'm sorry." Shane said turning to me. "It's fine man really." I nodded. "They said if I didn't stop trying to get that money, that maybe more than 1 gang member would be dead, or worse they would come after Ellie. Shit shit Shit." He said more to himself. "It will be fine Shane. We will get that money without anyone being hurt, the gang or Ellie." I nodded and patted him on the back. "I should probably go and you should probably go talk to Ellie." I said and made my way to the door. "No, she'll get over it. Ellie can't know that I'm in a gang." He said and shook his head. "I'll see you in a few days Shane." I said and he nodded. "Yah, just...just watch your back man, I can't lose you." "I will." I nodded and left.
Couple of nights later
Elliot's P.O.V.
This night was extremely rare. It was Friday night and it was nice to just be relaxed because I had no classes nor did I have to go to work in the morning. I really need this night out with some friends because things at home have been extremely stressful. I'm still not really talking to Shane and my parents came home for one night and left the next day. I was finishing the last loose curl to put into my hair and then I walked out of the bathroom. I went to my room and slipped on this crème colored lace dress, it was strapless, a bit on the form fitting side. I grabbed a pair of wedges that had aqua colored straps that matched my clutch. I sighed as I looked at myself in the mirror. Maybe this dress is a little too much, I thought to myself as I played with the ends of the skirt. "Elliot you look fine." I heard Alison's voice. I looked over and she was leaning against the door frame. "I know." I said as I looked down. "No you don't. You're thinking maybe this is too much and I should quickly change before the girls get here." She said walking over me. "How did you even get in?" I said as she knew that was her answer of her being correct. "Shane let me in." "I didn't even know he was home." I mumbled. "Whatever, let's just go." I mumbled as I looked down and walked away from the mirror. "Are you and Shane getting along." She questioned stepping in front of me. "Yeah, I just didn't know that he was home, you know him, and he's usually out and about." I said as I put on a tight smile. "Okay well...just forget about it tonight. It's our time off and plus it's girls night out!" She smiled happily as she did a little jump and giggled. I smiled and nodded as I followed her down the stairs and out the door. Alison has been my friend since the first day of high school and we both are currently both going to school to get out last degree to become a doctor. We climbed into the car and I was greeted by 3 familiar faces. "Hey girls." I smiled. "Hey Ellie." They all smiled. "Let's go to the club!" Alison yelled, getting impatient.
