raining for three days,
my blood tasted like herbal tea
picked by hand that holds my mother when she's still fragile,
only to drop her when she reaches fifteen
on the corner of my eye, her eyes avoiding me, but smell can't be suppressed cold air is thickened with jealousy,
my mother, her mother, and me
my grandmother who's holding me the way my mother wanted to be held,
the way I want my mother to hold me.
with the three-generation sitting on the couch, no one speaks.
let the droplets of the rain trick,
let the smell of the burning wood sing,
let the poor women of the family deal
the trauma, they've been suffering for years (knowing and unknowingly).
