I'll never know.

I woke up. That was the first mistake. I woke up and saw the sun, as it hit me right in the face, practically blinding me as I groaned I quickly stood up and got out of the sun and yawned. The second mistake I made, was I went into the bathroom and looked at myself. My face, and how horrible I looked, I looked as if I had seen a ghost, I sighed as I brushed my messy hair and put on some make up. The third mistake I made, was I walked to work, I figured that since it was a nice day I would walk, it wasn't too far.... It was a nice day until it down poured, soaking me head to toe, I walked in and sighed, the cold air from the store hit me like a blizzard and I shivered as I went into the back hoping that we had a towel back here, eventually I did find one and a threw on my apron and name tag and walked out into the store, I had to work the register today so, that was great... I guess... I hated doing that, there were always stupid people, then you had the couples, then you had screaming babies, and old grumpy ladies, however, sometimes when I worked the kiosk I had the pleasure of seeing Tom... The city "cop"... Greenhills was great! It just.. Was annoying sometimes, the store was packed today, there were people complaining everywhere you looked, there were a lot of people who called off today so it was really just me and maybe five other people. Plus the manager, who just sat at his desk every day. The rain stopped and a lot of people left, meaning the main reason they came here was to escape the rain. I sighed, there was supposed to be a baseball game tomorrow, so I might be able to get some sort of break tomorrow. I sighed as I learned over the counter, at the moment no one was here, though, when someone did come, it wasn't the person I wanted it to be. My manager walked over and I sat up straight. "you'll be working here again tomorrow" "what? No. xxxx is supposed to work here tomorrow?" "Yeah well he called off with a cold so... You know" I sighed and nodded. Great another boring day, I go back to scanning people's food, and other stuff, the fun thing was, on days like this I was able to see what people bought the most of, today it seemed to be this new cereal. Then my favorite person came up "Heyy (y/n)" "Hey tom." "You working the register today" "does it look like I'm working the register today?" I say as I scan his items "I guess that was a dumb question" I nodded and finished up bagging his things "are you gonna be here tomorrow as well?" I sigh and nod, he sighed as well "at least you don't have to sit at a speed trap all day and do nothing" I laugh at his statement, shaking my head afterwards "well either way, you should get back to work, I'll see you later (Y/n)" I waved and watched as he left, he was a good guy, it was kind of a shame that he'd probably be going to San Francisco....

The day moved on pretty quickly, there were times I had nothing to do, and others when I was super busy. But eventually it was the end of my shift and I finally got to go home, I walked outside, taking in the cold brisk air, it was dark out and on this particular night it was particularly cold, but I didn't mind too much, I walked down the streets of the small city, there were people walking around, enjoy their life, it was nice here, I looked over to the baseball field and smiled... What would've happened if I was a normal kid. If I did "normal" things, like play a sport, get a young job, join clubs.. Rather than work on projects and make crappy robots. It annoyed me sometimes. The people who weren't smart have grown the highest, yet the smart people stay low on ranks, we never get any credit, we never get any work, and we end up settling for something so little. Like j would be working at NASA, taking Elon musk's job as the owner of Twitter, I should be a spy, something, anything else, yet here I am in green Hills, working at a convince store. I sigh as I continue walking down the street, the sky looked so nice, the stars are just so pretty, and not all of them are still burning. The fact that light travels faster than anything else in the world is amazing, yet it takes so long for the light to be seen on earth, there are probably so many stars that we can't see right now, because they're so new. I sigh, I was getting to technical. I walk up the the front of my house, looking around at the scenery outside, while my job wasn't the best, I was able to get enough to get a good one floor house.. The outside wasn't very pretty but... The inside was.. Well... Some would call it chaotic, others would call it art. I took a step in my house and looked around, my tv was levitating off of the small coffee table that I had, the walls had more of a metallic design to them, while they had red, purple, and blue lights strung in between the ceiling and wall, giving the main room an eerie glow, my couch wasn't very big, and it was fairly new... Well... At least it looked fairly new, I had gotten it when I moved here 10 years ago, however I barely use it so there's not much of a point other than to look pretty I guess.. That or if I had guests over, which would be very unlikely. I walked into my kitchen and set my wallet and keys down on the counter, now this room had looked more modern... It has marble on the counter tops and swivel chairs that kinda looked like bar stools from and old, yet futuristic restaurant, my microwave had been used a bit, but it looked roughly new, it had a lot of different complex things on it.. Probably since I made it and I am complex. The oven came with the house, and the refrigerator was one of those fancy ones, until I tweeked it a bit and made it more fancy... Down the hallway there were four rooms, an office room... Or.. My office. It was supposed to be a master bedroom, but I needed a bigger space for all of my projects so... Oh well, then next to it was a spare room, there was simply a bed, a dresser and a light fixture inside, I hadn't touched the room cause I haven't had the time, across the hall was the bathroom... It was pretty basic, it had a shower, sink, toilet, ally the essentials, and then.. You had my room, my bed was floating.. Which took a while I might add, the walls were decorated with fake clouds and lights that made it look like there was lightning shooting through them, I had a small desk for doing makeup and stuff, and then two separate closets, there was one with more "fancy clothes" like, suits, dresses, ect. And the other closet had more "normal" clothes, I had a dresser, it had the rest of the clothes. I grabbed a pair of pajamas and a pair of underwear before heading to the bathroom, I took off all my clothes, leaving my bra on for the time being, I turned on the water and waited for it to get hot. I liked steaming hot showers for some reason, I couldn't really tell that they were super hot, or the fact they could potentially burn me, my pain tolerance was surprisingly high so I guess that's a plus. I stepped out of the shower afterwards, drying my hair and body before changing into my pj's and heading to my office, I wasn't tired yet. As I stepped in I looked around at the numerous drones I had, some were designed to help... Others to kill, there were some not even finished as well.. So I guess that's that.. I sat at my desk and looked over the blue prints I had for my next project, now when looking at this blueprint, most would think it's just random Jibberish and words all over the page, but in reality it's me explaining everything and it's function... I suppose I should make them more organized.. But it's not like anyone is oing to look at it anyways, I looked over at the scrap metal I had and sighed "I don't have nearly enough to do this" I rub my face in my hands before pinching my nose bridge and sighing... It was annoying. For some reason I couldn't help but think that tomorrow, something was going to happen. I wasn't sure what, but it didn't seem good. I decided to just go to sleep turning off the lights and closing the door behind me, I plop onto my bed and feel a wave of tiredness rush over me, I get comfy and fall asleep almost instantly.... The thought of something bad happening haunted my dreams... But I'll never know... At least... Not until tomorrow I guess.
