Zack and Jamie are in Jamie's car once again.
ZACK: Hey, it's Zack Tate and Jamie McFarland, reporting live for the second time today because basically no one is going to class anymore.
JAMIE: They should just send us home.
ZACK: Seriously. Anyway, we're back with a special guest who...Ellie, you wanna say hi? (A blonde-haired girl comes into focus from the back seat, her expression serious.)
ELLIE, flatly: Hi.
JAMIE: So, Ellie Hemmings is the alleged best friend of Perrie Edwards-
ZACK: She's not alleged. She's her actual friend.
JAMIE: Right. I meant to say, Ellie is the best friend of alleged murder suspect-
ELLIE, leaning forward: Okay, this is why I'm here. You guys are being so irresponsible. You can't throw Perrie's name around like this, just because she's absent and she didn't get along with Nelson.
JAMIE: Hey, facts are facts.
ELLIE: Well, if you're so interested in facts, you should talk about everyone at Charlton High who's not in school today. Who else isn't here?
Jamie ducks out of camera view as Zack frowns.
ZACK: What difference does that make? If they don't, like, have some kind of documented problem with Nelson?
ELLIE: It's comprehensive reporting. And Perrie doesn't have a "documented problem" with Nelson. She lost an election to her, that's all. Anyone would be upset. She probably just took the day off.
ZACK: Would you say it's in character for Perrie to take a day off?
ELLIE: Well, no, but-
JAMIE, popping back into camera range: You guys, I just checked out our stats. We're doing some serious numbers.
ZACK: Huh?
JAMIE: Like triple our usual views. No, wait...(Ducks out of view again, then reappears.) Quadruple.
ZACK: Really?
JAMIE: We're trending baby. Okay, not trending exactly, but almost 500 people are watching this.
ELLIE, eyes widening: Oh God.
