Taehyung

Aria was so beautiful and that was one of the many reasons I loved her so much. Another reason being she was literally the best and that alone was an understatement. She loved me too, even more so a blind person could see it. I was the luckiest guy for bagging her and I would always let her remember that.

These thoughts invaded my mind as I watched her eat from across me. It reminded me of our first date when she didn't even touch her food because, according to her, she didn't want to be embarrassed in front of me. But here she was three years later, devouring that poor helpless chicken.

"Geez baby, I'm sure the meat is all gone, you can drop the bone now" I smiled while she just eyed me.

"Babe, how can you say that?" She said, faking hurt. "You paid hella money for this place, the least I could do is make sure it's being utilized properly" That only made me laugh more. Another reason I loved her so much. She was so effortlessly funny.

Today was our three year anniversary and our first in college and since three was her favourite number, I thought why not make it special. So typically I booked us an expensive restaurant and made her order whatever it was she wanted. She complained though, obviously, but I assured her.

Not to brag but like I'm rich rich, if you get what I mean. Well my parents are, but whatever, you get my point. Money had never been a problem for me.

"That's not reason enough baby" I said still smiling. "If you want, I could bring you here every week and you can have as many chicken as you'd like. Without getting on the bones though"

"Yeah no thank you. I can't have you wasting your money. How many times will I tell you that?"

"It's not wastage if I spend it to make you happy"

"Shut up, Tae" She said, mimicking me. "I got you a gift too but you'll have to come to my room later for that"

I smirked at her already knowing whatever it is she had planned and right then, I was growing very impatient.

"Okay baby, you know...." I was cut off by my phone ringing and as I didn't want to disrespect our date, I silenced it. Today was ours to enjoy.

Okay that didn't last long because it rang again. This time I looked at her apologetically and picked it. I don't think I'll be in the mood for Jungkook's sulking when I get home.

"Yes kook?" Aria raised her head at that. They didn't like each other. Well Jungkook didn't like her, reason unbeknownst to me till now. I felt like she was just trying to be mutual but deep down she really wanted them to be friends.

"Where are youu?" He whined and I immediately knew he was tipsy.

"I'm on the date with Aria, Kook, I told you this before I left the house"

"Of course you are. Always Aria, Aria, Aria. You don't even pay me no mind anymoree" He continued whining and I knew it was just the alcohol speaking. Normal him would complain, yeah but whine? Never in his wildest dreams.

"We live together Jungkook, you literally see me every day and night. Hell you've been seeing me everyday for 19 years now" I cried.

"Yeahhh but stilllll....."

"Dude, why did you call?"

"Oh yeah, the oven's on and I don't knowww h-  how to turn it off. Sooo you better come home before the house burnsss down" He slurred.

"Jungkook, whatt?" I looked at Aria who was looking at me worriedly. "Hold on, I'll be there soon. Don't even try to do anything stupid"

I cut the the call before he could say anything and faced Aria.

"Babyy, I'm so sorry but I'll make it up to you okayy" I said, genuinely apologetic. I knew it was wrong ending this date like this but I'd rather not be homeless.

"Yeah sure sure" she called for a waiter to pack our leftovers to go "Is everything okay? What's going on?"

"Fuck, it's Jungkook. He's gonna make me homeless before I even graduate from college" I cried and she smiled at me.

"Just do what you have to do but remember to come to my room this night, okay? Wouldn't want to to miss out on your present now would we?"

We were walking out of the restaurant while I hailed a cab for her. Her dorm and my apartment were in opposite directions and I couldn't be wasting any more time.

"Don't do this to me babe, you don't want to start something you can't finish right now" I groaned.

She smirked at me and entered the cab. I gave her a quick peck on her cheek and forehead then paid for her ride. "I love you okay, text me when you get home"

"Sure dad" I laughed at that and watched the car zoom off.

Fuck I was so hard and my jeans were constricting. Jungkook was so going to pay for this, heavy.

I got into my car and sped to the apartment. Reaching there, I saw his car was outside. Good for him cos I was going to kill him.

I walked through the front door and I stared everywhere confused. The house was clean, too clean in fact. The throw pillows were even on the couch not the floor where they always were.

Remembering the oven, I dashed into the kitchen but it wasn't on. It didn't even look like it had been used.

"Taeee, wow that was quick, didn't think you'd actually get here so fast. Was the date that boring?" He walked into the kitchen smirking at me like he already knew what I was thinking.

"What the hell kook??" I was so angry, is he serious right now? "You made me leave my date to come home and for what?? To realize you were pranking me??"

"Well, I missed youu and you've been out all dayy" gosh, he's still fucking tipsy.

"You can't be serious kook, I swear..." I tried to calm down. He was drunk, he was drunk, he was drunk.

Drunk Jungkook always behaved this way. "Just..let me take to your room, you're not yourself. When you wake up, I'm going to slam your head against the wall" I went to drag him to his room.

"Ooh, kinky!"

"Shut uppp"

I got him some water and forced him to bed which I'm sure took five years from my life span. Jeez, where the hell did I get this guy from and why is he still my best friend??

I feel so nostalgic writing again, goshh. Hope you liked this first chapter. I've been gatekeeping this story in my mind for so longgg. I hope I'll actually finish it.
