Megan's POV
Ash and I put Lauren to sleep and all of the us stayed up and talked awhile.
'I can't believe someone would put a gorgeous girl like her in the orphanage.' Luke said
'I know.' I said , ' The worker of the orphanage told us that her parents had abused her & no longer had time for her.' I replied back.
'That's terrible. We can't take her back.' Mikey said
Lauren came running into the living room where all of us were at crying.
I picked her up and sat her on my lap,"What's wrong baby?" I asked her
"James." She whispered to me hugging my neck.
Her first dad, James, had always abused her. She had almost died because of a broken rib. They told us that she always has nightmares about him coming back to hurt her.
"Shhh. It's ok! He won't hurt you." I told her
"MIKEROWAVE TO THE RESCUE!" Mikey yelled running in the living room with a red- super heros outfit on.
Lauren's POV
Super Mikey ran into the living room and picked me up. He yelled "Mikerowave to the rescue!"
I giggled and said 'Can I call you super mike?' I asked him giggling.
'Yeah' He told me
Mikey always cheers me up when I am down. Always the same technique, running in with red and sometimes blue super hero capes on.
