> A FIELD, A FOREST, A MOMENT <
__________________________________________________________
note: im sorry for going absent for weeks, i was busy w/ school and other stuff (plus i can't think of words to put in these pages 😭)

Sun woke up in a peaceful field of sunflowers, and the sun was rising ever so slowly by forest in the far distance.. and the light hitting his faceplate softly gave him a weird comforting feeling.. he does not remember how he got here.. since he just was in the isolated daycare, all lonely and exhausted.. but this was good for him, a nice change of surrondings for atleast a little while doesn't hurt anybody. Right?

He was surrounded by hand-picked flowers, (un)ironically being 'moonflower' s (or Ipomoea Alba.) He took a moonflower in blue, and slowly inspected it as he sat up straight in the sunflower field.

"Strange, how are these here in a sunflower field.."

It was starting to remind him too much of Moon, so he placed the moonflower back down in the grass. Looking back at the sun which was continuing to rise, he somewhat was enjoying the sight he was getting the chance to see.

he was in peace, at least for a little while.

though he was starting to over-think something..

..was he really alone? That was a question he couldn't really get out of his head.

He stood up from the field, his sunrays spinning around his faceplate about a few times before he took a quick glance around. He was starting to feel like he was being watched, but it can't be.. no. It was quite strange to feel somebody staring at him in an area like this, who would even be here? This place seems like not a single bit of human life has took a step in this field..

..which that is strange, but he pushed that strange detail aside.

His legs moved, taking in the sign that he should explore around a bit.. it never hurt anybody to find out what this field is, did it? He could be the first to find out what this place could be! Maybe Moon would actually be proud for once.. though he knows he doesn't really care. He took a stroll around the field, being quite careful not to step on any of the sunflowers or anything dangerous. He saw all sorts of bugs living the normal bug life on the grass and sunflowers, atleast they didn't get squashed to death like city-bugs or the bugs he'd see in the pizzaplex. He always thought that they could've transported those poor bugs to somewhere safer than killing it, but everybody thinks thats stupid..

He went into the forest, walking on a path as he looked around. Admiring the trees, the ponds, the dragonflies flying above those ponds, the peaceful life these creatures live in, the growing vines, or in general.. he was admiring everything about this place. It was like he could stay here forever without worrying about anything for awhile... Not like Moon or Earth would care about his absence in the daycare anyway. He chuckled softly, a smile appearing on his face..

He wasn't gonna lie, he felt like a kid. Even though he's an animatronic, he felt like he was watching through the eyes of a child that was going on an adventure! Without any supervision from parents. Actually, the more he thought about that just makes him slightly concerned on how many kids around the world could've gone through the same thing like him, going an adventure in a random forest and all that.

He stopped by a lake to take a short break from that stroll, sitting down near the rocks. It's quite the sight to look at. He was seeing fish in the lake, he could be mistaken but he swore he saw an axolotl in there. But he couldn't dive in to check if there was an actual axolotl in there, that would be just a death-wish to his memory chip and inner programming really. He saw some geese enjoying their time, and he smiled at that. Birds flew pass by the forest, soaring through the skies like theres no tomorrow. Its like he was part of this forest aswell, but of course he isn't. He isn't made out of flesh and bones, he's made out of parts and gears.

He did a sigh, standing up from the rock as he felt a drop of water on his shoulder blade. He looked up as it was slowly starting to softly rain. He wasn't getting electrocuted for some reason, which weirded him out. Normally he'd be affected by the water and started malfunctioning, then remembering the upgrade from a few months ago. Of course, his and Moon's body were waterproof.. that probably would explain why.

He looked back down, noticing something beyond the bushes at the other side of the lake. His curiousity already being high, that 'something' just boosted it. He got down from the rocks and walked to those suspicious bushes. Pushing the bushes aside, he saw what seemed to be an old building in ruins. Looking around in awe, he saw old(?) scriptures of.. well he couldn't tell. It was quite cracked and being infested with nature. While he looked around some more, he saw something he'd never see in a place like this.

A clock.

The clock was in perfect condition aswell! Aside from vines growing on it in the bottom, the material of it was perfectly fine! Not in ruins or anything. It was ticking slowly too..

"What on.. how is the material in perfectly fine condition..?"

He was freaked out, what did this mean really..? He looked around again, glancing around the woods before back at the clock. There was moonflowers growing on it, roots growing on it.. he took a step foward to it.

Being right infront of the clock, he hesitantly placed his hand foward on it, before touching it.

.

He wakes up back in the daycare, with moonflowers being on him. He sprung out of the position he was on. Touching himself and looking around in a panick. His gears and programs were still processing what on heavens it meant, he couldn't put a finger on it..

But it meant something didn't it? What was a clock doing in a forest? He didn't know really, but he wanted answers.

Even if it was just a dream.
