Present day.

I sighed surfing through Netflix, trying to find a single movie that I haven't already watched.
"Arre beta Sanjay bhaiyya bol rahe the ki Piku achcha film hai. Dekh woh hai ki nahi." Papa said putting his magazine aside. I typed the movie name in the searchbox but the movie was not available.
(Dear, Sanjay was telling me that Piku is a good movie. See if it's there.)
"It's not on Netflix papa. Shayad Prime pe available ho." I shrugged.
(Maybe it's available on prime.)
"Heh? If if not on Netflix then for what joy are you paying money?" He scowled. He shook his head and unlocked his phone with a frown on his face. "Sanjay bhaiyya's son gets movies from Telegram you know?"
"Papa koi aur platform par hoga." I explained to him. "Also getting movies like that is really bad. Do you know how much hardwork these people put into making these movies? Stealing them from illegal sites is wrong." I explained to him. He just looked at me up and down and turned his face away from me.
(Dad, it must be on some other platform.)
"Lut gaye hum. Netflix walo ne hume loot liya. Paisa barbaad." He dramatically said looking the TV.
(We got robbed. Netflix robbed us. All our money got wasted.)
"Achcha? Who was binge watching a whole series yesterday on Netflix?" My mom teased him looking up from her phone.
(Really?)
"Tum chup hi raho." My dad pouted rolling his eyes.
(You stay quiet.)
"Madhu jaa kitchen mein Rasgulle hai. Sab ke liye leke aa. Aur Sahil ka bula. God only know what he does inside his room all day long." Mom mumbled to herself.
(Madhu, there's Rasgullas in the kitchen. Get it for everyone. And call Sahil.)
"Jane do na ma. He worked so hard on that presentation. Let him have some rest." I smiled at her getting up to get Rasgulla.
(Let it go, ma.)
I knocked on my brother's door and yelled at the closed door. "Get out of the room and have some fresh air. At this point you'll die drinking in your own carbon dioxide."
"Tu jaa na!" He yelled back irritated. I could hear how irritated and annoyed he was. But it is my birth right to annoy the hell out of him right?
(Go away!)
"Teekh hai. I'll eat your rasgullas too." I yelled back knowing for sure he would come out now. The next second his door opened and he stood there with his headphones on. He wore a plain yellow t shirt and some maroon shorts. I inwardly grimaced at his choice of clothes.
(Okay.)
"Don't annoy me." He said frustrated and walked towards the living room. I served everyone Rasgullas and moaned at the delicious treat.
"Achcha beta we had to talk about something." Papa started the conversation. His eyes kept darting towards ma.
"Haan tell." I said paying all my attention to the beautiful rasgullas.
"Toh were thinking that we should start searching for girls. If we start searching now, then only we can choose a nice girl for Sahil." Papa continued making me frown. I looked at him and nodded not really knowing why he looked so tense about this
