7#A Crinkle in Time: Eyes of the elders

Daimian's POV

I felt myself, floating far far away and into the deep waters that are called the ocean, life seemed meaningless as I couldn’t shout for help…I had to break free of the chains that kept me captive from being able to control my body, Everything felt dark, and cold around me, Have you ever heard of a coma before?  If you haven’t then probably don’t know what I’m talking about, that’s what my situation felt like and everyone probably thought I was dead, but I wasn't. I was trapped in my own body! I had to break the barrier somehow, I couldn’t give up then…that’s when there was light in the distance, I stepped into the light and suddenly I felt a strong power, I channeled all my angry and tried to  destroy the barrier, finally I had broken it then I felt myself awaking. I gasped for air as I was in control of my body again. I had to get to shore quickly. The only problem was that I was so far away from the shore, it would be impossible, I was losing air fast, soon I would have died then that would be the end of me. I screamed for help, hoping that someone would hear me, bubbles, There was no answer…my body was filled up with water and I felt my body failing to keep me alive…”This is it, it's the end of me…” Daiman had mumbled My life is over ... .I'm sorry…everyone… At least that’s what Daiman thought he had woken up in the hospital with an oxygen mask over his mouth, air filling his body, There were whispers, Daiman heard thousands of voices, He had opened his eyes shocked and confused, “Where the heck I am tell me!?” he had yelled, One of the doctors had rushed towards him “Sir your awake, please calm down, We will explained everything soon” the doctor said as she had tried to keep Daiman calm, “When how I am even alive, I was in…the ocean and…now I’m here!?” “Please Sir stop yelling, I know right now for you is an confusion time but… when we tell you how you survived please don’t freak out” The doctor looked at Daiman who was really angry, There was an knock on the door, The doctor answered it “Come in” a tall man with blonde hair with gray strands started to form, “So that’s Daiman correct the one who…” The man’s voice had trailed off as he whispered something to the doctor who nodded in agreement, “Hello Daiman” said the man as he grabbed a chair and sat on it, “Who are you?” asked Daiman in confusion, “I’m Harold, I’m a therapist” Harold said in a calm tone. “ Therapist, why the heck would I need a therapist!?” Harold had noticed that Daiman was angry again and had pulled something out of his bag, it was a small toy bunny that was pink, He had showed it to Daiman and explained that this bunny is a stress toy, squeezed it when he felt angry, "Can one of you please explain how I survived!?" "Mr.Daiman calm down squeeze the bunny, The doctor will now explain" The doctor had grabbed a chair and looked at Daiman, she let out a sigh "When you were losing air and your body was failing you… Some scuba divers that were on an expedition had noticed you and immediately had brought to shore then dialed the hospital to come get you, You were put in the back of the ambulance and were on stretcher, once you gotten to the hospital, we rushed you to a room, quickly, everyone thought you had died, but… We gave you an oxygen mask and now you're okay" "So that's it?" "No there's more, we had to give you an injection that kept you alive, the symptoms from the injection are: light-head, shadows, coughing blood" "So what was this injection name exactly, wait.. I thought the oxygen mask was enough to keep me alive?" "Unfortunately it isn't, that's why we had to inject you with Z power " "Z power?" asked Damian "Yes Z power is very helpful for patients but it also has side-effects,the one we just describe to you are stage 1, there's more stages…" So… these doctors just injected me with something called "Z power" it's helpful but also has side-effects and there are more stages, What going to happen to me….?  Will I even be the same person after this? "Do… patients survive when there injected with Z power?" Damian really wanted to know, he was really scared though for what the doctor would had told him…. "Well.. some do and some don't it just really depends.. " "Depends on what?" "That's the thing with Z power, the reasoning always changes, most patients have made it through 1-10, we really don't know what the other stages are… " "Can't you like reverse it surely there something you can do right?" The doctor shook her head "I'm sorry Damian but… it's out of my control.." Damian felt angry, doctors are supposed to be helping you, this doctor wasn't doing anything about it she just was letting this happen… that's when something had happened, Daiman suddenly had saw shadows that were bleeding. They whispered "Help us Daiman please help usss" Daiman was scared he had screamed "Go away Shadows!" The doctor and Harold looked at eachother, They both knew that… it was time.. The doctor was scared, Harold had whispered to the doctor "We are running out of time, Kathy I know you don't wanna do this but what option do we have so please let's just get this over with" "Aright let's do it" The doctor had looked at Daiman she had taken off the oxygen mask and disconnected him from the machine that was in his room. "Damian I'm going to put you to sleep" "Wait what where are we even going?"  Damian was so confused about what was happening. Everything had happened so fast that Damian could not process what was happening. He had woken up in a room, that he had never seen before "Where I am?" he wondered "You're finally awake I thought you were never going to wake up but you did!" "Who are you? " "I'm the spirit of the three guardians, nice to meet ya Damian, my name is Lilly" "I don't still understand where I am? " "Your in a safe house, it was built to keep you safe at least that's what I had been told, I'm yout protector!" Lily had smiled "What is the spirit of three guardians mean?" "We were created to protect people like you from harm. In order to become a guardian you have to make a promise that you live by, if you break that promise then you will die and become a spirit. You can still protect them, if you can't find your person or if your person had passed away then you will be assigned a certain amount of days you have until you disappear forever… if you  fail to complete your mission then your guardian role will be taken away from. If you complete your mission in a certain amount of days then you will be able to stay their permanent guardian forever. Everyone has a spirit of guardian, sometimes we appear at random times, dangerous situations, people who you know and lots of other things" This was so much information how was I going to remember all of that…. "How do you know who your guardian is?" "You'll know who they are by the color of their pupils which can be yellow, blue, sometimes green, the shape of their pupils are stars or sometimes hearts but there are also other creatures who will impersonate your guardian you can tell who they are are by their pupils which are red, white, sometimes pink, the shape of pupils are circles, moon and cat eyed, only 1% can match your guardian's eye color and pupils to pretend that are you're guardian"  So much that happened today..learning I had stages, a guardian, and now..I'm in a safe house!? This is so much to handle.. So Daiman and his new guardian had stayed in the safe house.. but Daiman thought that was the end of crazy things that happened….
