Part 7 - Friday already

I woke up at 9 o'clock and I was pretty well rested. I got up and decided to make myself and my roomies breakfast. I took out the pan, eggs, milk, flour and salt - I'll be making crepes. I made the batter and greased the pan with oil when I put it onto low heat. I poured the batter and made the first crepe successfully.

I made the rest of them and prepared the toppings: nutella, strawberies, bananas, bluberies and whipped cream. Olivia then stepped into the kitchen and her eyes instantly lit up when she saw the crepes. "This heavenly smell was coming from our apartment? I thought it was nextdoor neighboors. I already wanted to bribe them, but now there is no need for that." She smiled at me with that last sentence and took a strawberry to her mouth. She sat down and we both started eating. Annie woke up when Liv knocked over a pan and she joined us immediately.

When we were done we cleaned the table and the mess on the floor that the pan left there. By then it was 11.00 a.m. already so we decided that we're going shopping for some accesories to wear to the concert. I put on some black leggings and a tank top which I covered by a hoodie. I met them at the front door and we exit the building.

I walked through the aisles in H&M and Harry Stiles started playing on the speakers. I started bobbing my head to the music and I wasn't careful enough because I bumped into a person. I turned to look at them to apologise and I immediately recognised the person before me.

It was my ex from a few years ago, luckily the one I ended with nicely. "Matt, hi! What are you doing here?" I asked. He looked good, he haid a bit longer hair and was now very muscular. "Oh hey, Savannah. I'm buying some clothes for my sister for her birthday. I figured she loved H&M so I just came here. How are things?" He smiled. "It's been good. I came here over the holidays to change things up a bit. I'm sorry for bumping into you." I apologised. "Oh, no problem. It's nice seeing you again after all this time. You look better now." He said. We ended because my aunt died and I was a mess for almost a year. In the process we drifted apart, but we decided to stay friends. It wasn't gery long until Matt had to move to Bled so we haven't seen eachother since. "Well, I found comfort in knowing that she'll be watching over me and I healed. It took time but I did it." I said proudly. I could tell he was proud of me too. "That's great! I sadly have to go, my friend is waiting for me in the car. I wish you the best in the future, Sav. Call me sometimes if you'd like and we can go out for coffee. Just as friends, of course, if you're not ready for something else. I'd like to know more about how life's been to you. Bye!" He said. "I will, it's been way too long. Thank you, Matt. For everything. Nice meeting you, bye!" I said and he walked away, looking back at me once more.

I searched the whole store for something special and I found a sparkling phone case and a pink and golden necklace. I bought these two and sat on the bench in front of the store to wait for Annie and Liv. I scrolled through TikTok to entertain myself, until they came out 5 minutes later. I stood up and we all walked to the second store.

When I got home it was already 4 o'clock and I decided to get ready. We got lunch in the city when we were walking back and this chinese was one of a kind.

I made a huge mess when I was looking through my closet for the perfect outfit. I laid out two of them on my bed. I was deciding between shorts and a crop top or a black casual dress. I chose the dress and just put some nike pros underneath to prevent anything bad happening. I put on some parfume and golden jewelery to go with the dress. I entered the bathroom and did a light makeup look - just some eyeliner and mascara with a natural eyeshadow, some blush and highlighter. I concealed only the parts that were necesary.

I went back to the room to pack my bag with a bottle of water, a pack of gum, my phone, powerbank and some lipgloss. I grabbed the ticket and put it in a sidepocket then went to the hall where Liv and Annie were both waiting for me. Of course I'm the last. "You two both look absolutely gorgeous." I complimented them. "Goes straight back to you. This dress is so perfect." Annie said.

We all exited the apartment around 7.00 and went down the stairs to exit the building. Annie already called a taxi so it was waiting in the front to pick us up. Luckily the drive was only 5 minutes long since the concert was pretty near us. That meant that we could also walk back if there wasn't any taxis available. They would start playing at about 8 o'clock so we were one of the first people to get there. We would for sure make it to the first line.

After 30 minutes there was already a lot of people there. I didn't knew the band was so popular. I was leaning on the wall behind me because my legs were tired from the waiting. They finally opened the door and started letting people in. As I predicted, we did stood in the middle of the first line so we got the perfect view. I was so excited for the concert. I could feel I will rembember it forever.
