He towers over me, and casts a shadow over my horrified face. Connor bursts through the doors,
"Ang...!" He was cut off and dropped his bag. I looked back at him in fear, but he did nothing but stand there. I looked up into the man's gray, stormy eyes. I glare in disdain,
"What do you want?'' I question, attempting to hide my terror. He chuckles, like I'd told some hysterical joke, yet again I glance back, all I see is my backpack, nothing more. Tears burn in my eyes. I don't let them show.
"You know exactly what I want," with that he grins, it was a crooked, insincere smile, the type that makes you want to crawl somewhere and wipe it from your memory.
"St-stay away!" My own words surprise me, I was programmed to never yell at anyone, I couldn't let Angel's parents feel any feelings but love for their daughter, therefore I'm not aloud to yell or express anger towards anyone, but I also can't truly trust anyone. If I was to become angry,
it would simply build up.
"Leave me be! I-I'm doing what they want! They don't suspect anything!"
This time when I look up his grin turns to a straight line, a slash across his face.
"They say you're making too much of an impact on this world, they gave you too many emotions, they'll probably have to strip you of most of them."
I stare at him in horror, 'no'.
"Wouldn't that be suspicious? They'd think I was emotionless, I'd go to therapy, and they'd wonder what was wrong with me, I may be tested, they don't want that, do they?" I grin at him in a way of saying, 'I win.' He simply shakes his head,
" Humans are stupider than you make them out to be, just be more careful, got it?" He turns and around and his black hair swirls around his face. He strolls off to who knows where and disappears, I sigh and turn to pickup my cello and backpack. I shake my head and begin the walk home, by now the crossing guards had already gone home, so I wouldn't have to interact with anyone. Once I walk up to the button, a tear rolls down my cheek, then another, until they pour like waterfalls, and my vision blurs,bI wonder aimlessly until I reach my house, and I stand on the porch, 'why won't, these tears, stop pouring from my eyes?'.
