The recovery tent that the three ninjas were placed in was closed off in the back to be sure none saw their appearances since the masks had to be removed. The two healers were sworn to secrecy before treating any of them. They all needed rest, small cuts on Mai's skin being treated and chakra levels recovering. Kenta's back had to receive some stitches as the white bandages wrapped around his body from the shoulders down to the hips. Asami was the worse off, ordered to stay off her feet for nearly a week or more. There was a hairline fracture in the right fibula that with too much pressure could break further before it had healed correctly. The medical staff had created a cast with healing herbs to try and speed up the process, while giving the area support because No Face was not going to be lingering for a week.

"Is there any way that I can convince you to stay?" the official questioned Beon the third day they were there.

"No," he answered. "We've been here too long and if a ninja from another Village comes to help you rebuild, we will be in danger of being discovered."

They were only supposed to help with the initial search and rescue.

"But your injured member–"

"We have the resources we need and I assure you she'll be well looked after."

Joon had yet to leave his sister's side. He refused to rejoined the others as they continued their efforts around the town.

"Very well," he sighed. "I know there's no reasoning with you. You're too stubborn." Beon smirked under the mask. "At least wait till tomorrow morning."

"We'll be gone before then." They would most likely slip into the cover of the night when no one expected it.

"I'll be sure the healers prepare a kit for the road then."

Beon reentered the medical tent moving past the filled beds and ducking behind the curtain that had been set in place. Asami was sleeping. Kenta and Mai were present in a mildly annoyed manner that they weren't allowed to leave. Not until the healers saw fit. They had been stuck in their beds since coming in and their only saving grace was a pack of cards Makoto found among the wreckage so they could play in their down time.

"How is she?" he asked Joon lowly.

"Doing better," the brother answered. "She's not in as much pain."

His eyes then drifted towards the other two, Kenta sighing heavily with the fact that he had lost the hand, a small smirk gracing Mai's lips. His mind drifted back to how the three emerged from the cave in. A part of him wished to believe after the incident that what had been seen was only a trick of the eye. All of them being under pressure and worried over the fact that three of their members were at death's door. But as the hours and days passed Beon reevaluated the facts present before him. He came to one conclusion: he still didn't know much about their new member.

Mai was still fairly new. Yes, they all had secrets, but thinking back on it whenever a question would arise trying to dig into her past, understand where she came from at least, the conversation was always steered away. The older teen was very good at that. In fact, the leader had to admit that out of all of the rogues he had come to know in his life Mai was by far the brightest for her age. Many that young didn't last on their own for very long. The Be Fong was a survivor. A survivor of what exactly?

"Want to join us, Beon?" Kenta asked. The two of them had taken notice that they had an audience.

His head shook. "Maybe another time." Moving from the tent the man maneuvered through the campsite and found the official once more conversing with a few workers. Though they left upon his arrival.

"Didn't expect to see you so soon," he commented.

"There's something I need to see. By any chance have your logs survived."

"Logs? For ninja?" His head nodded. "Yes, I believe so. That building was at a higher elevation and avoided the flood waters. Why?"

"There's something I need to see."

"I'm not sure how detailed they will be with us not being a Kage Village, but you're welcome to look."

"It should be enough. What I'm searching for deals with the Fourth Shinobi War."

He blinked in thought. "That we do have." Every country had been given a report on the dealings with the Akatsuki and the events that unfolded on the battlefield. Then there were the stories of course from word of mouth.

"Show me."

No Face were gone before the sun rose, never looking back on the small town. Joon carried his sister piggyback style the whole way. Fumi was in possession of their extra medical supplies, Makoto taking up the rear to be sure none of them fell behind. This wasn't a normal procedure for the rogues not having lookout points and guards on either side, deciding to stick together at the present moment due to their condition.

Asami, Kenta, and Mai's masks were still cracked, a woman having offered to repair it the best she could. Major sections had been filled in so not to reveal the color of their eyes so easily and basic facial features, but many of the edges were chipped away. They would need to get new ones, something Beon took upon himself since he was the one to present the item to each of them when first joining.

"Where to now?" Akihiro questioned. It was the first time the young man was not being an annoyance since the Be Fong joined them. He hadn't ragged on her since the incident.

"We put as much distance between us and this place," Beon said. "Takashi, Makoto, head to the Land of Birds where our last campsite was. See if there's anything to salvage. We head for Fang Country, and will stop along the coast where it meets the Land of Waterfalls."

It was secluded there, and a place that could offer them cover for a few weeks off the radar. That way Asami could finish recovering in peace. It was going to be a long trek. One where No Face would need to pass through the Land of Fire. Both ninjas were gone in an instant heading northwest. Mai only hoped anyone from her Village was not venturing in their path. Not that they would notice her with the mask and all, but avoiding a confirmation with them would be best.

"Let's go."
