Chapter 2 - (Grandpa) Baron Menroe's Death

Owana's POV

Waking up on his bed, he sees Izabella next to him.
Huh, she's still sleeping. Let's let her, we did stay up late playing video games and watching anime after all. Let's make breakfast shall I?
Looking at the time he sees that it's 12:38 PM. Quietly he gets up from his bed, goes to the kitchen, and starts preparing some food for them to eat.

12:42 PM

Izabella walks into the kitchen, and asks tiredly. "Watcha making Yummy?"
"Ah your awake Slicky! I'm making bacon, pancakes, and hash browns. Oh yeah, and I'm making scrambled eggs for you." "'giggles' Thank you!" She thanks him, smiling.

While they were eating their breakfast.

"-and the way she swung her sword was incredible!" "Yeah!" Izabella agrees while laughing. "I agree!" "Ooh! Did you see the part where the demon was cu-"
Ring, ring, ring, ring. "Oh um, sorry one moment." "Yeah don't worry, take your time."

................ "What!!!!???? Grandpa is at the brink of death...!"
"Yes Mr. Menroe I'm-I'm afraid so...." The doctor on the phone told him in a quiet and saddened tone. "We've done the best we could but, well...." "Well what!" Owana asked in a serious tone. "W-Well he has at best, until early tomorrow morning. He was a greatly respected man, I'm so sorry...." "Anything else...?" "All I can say is to drop whatever your doing and come to the mansion as quickly as possible." "I'll be there soon...." Owana then hangs up the phone. "C'mon Izabella we're leaving." Owana tells her in a very serious tone. "Yeah alright, sure let's go then shall we?"

3:44 PM

Owana and Izabella enter Owana's grandpa's bedroom. And his grandpa's name?
Baron Menroe. "Poppy!" Owana yells worriedly, running up to his bedside.
"Hey Little O! Hahahahahahah- 'coughs repeatedly'" "Poppy are you okay!?"
"Well I'd be lying if I said I was. Hahahaha...!" "That isn't  funny!" Owana replies back with an angry, but worried face. "Ah.... Don't worry so much Little O! Just let me live what's left of my life with no worries, alright?" "Y-Yeah sure...." Owana agrees, Putting up a smile. "I see that you've brought with you a girlfriend! I guess I should start calling you Big O now huh?!" "'giggles' Yeah.... So Poppy.... What happened exactly...?" Owana asked his grandpa a bit sheepishly. "Don't worry, I'm just old is all. I'm actually surprised this didn't happen sooner considering my age." "Mhm." "So Little O, and Little- uh?" "Izabella." Izabella told him. "Little O and Little I, tell me how you two met!" Baron asks in an attempt to lighten the mood. Izabella the starts to tell him the story of how she and Owana met....

4:40 PM

"Hahahaha! Incredible! I'm proud of you my grandson!" Baron tells Owana in a proud tone, before he gets another coughing fit, this time though droplets of blood come out of his mouth too. "Poppy!" "'giggles' Looks like my time is almost up.... Hahahaha! This is the end, I'm so sorry Little O...." Tears filling his eyes, his breathing getting more and more shallower by the second. "Poppy...!" Owana exclaims worriedly, crying.
"Hehehehe d-don't worry Owana I'll be fine...." "No! No you won't!"
"I know, I was just trying to get you to smile.... Will you smile for good old grandpa Baron, one more time. Oh and not a sad smile either, I want a big, A BIG HAPPY SMILE! Okay?" Baron asks of Owana silently crying now. Giving him a big happy smile Owana says. "Okay, yeah sure.... Anything for you Poppy." "No, no, no. These are my final moments. Please call me grandpa Baron, okay grandson Owana?" Baron pleads. "Mhm, yeah okay grandpa Baron...! I love you and.... And I won't forget you. Never ever ever never!" Baron laughs happily. "Never ever ever never!"
Crying still Owana places his hands on his grandpa Baron's left hand. Izabella does the same, but on Baron's right hand. "I love you, you know that right grandson Owana?"
"Mhm! Yes of course I do!" Nodding at Owana's reply, he turns to Izabella.

Baron's POV

I turn to Izabella and ask her the one question that's been on my mind since I saw her.
Do you hear this Aragitha Heely?
He hears a reply in his head. Yes I hear you.
Activating the most powerful lie detection spell in existence, Baron then asks both out loud and in his head he asks the question he's been dying to ask since he saw her enter his bedroom.

"Izabella Elizabeth Heely. Do you, with all of your heart, love my grandson Owana Galli Menroe?" Aragitha Osires Heely. Do you, with all of your heart, love my fourteenth generation ancestor Owana Galli Menroe?
Aragitha (Izabella) answers with. "Yes sir I do." Yes sir I do. It is the truth.

4:44 PM  Owana's POV

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! She's a keeper grandson Owana!" Baron coughs out. "Grandpa Baron!" Owana yells out, more worried than he's ever been in his life. "Give me your hand boy. I have something I want to give you...." Baron tells Owana lifting up his own right hand. Giving his grandpa his left hand, his grandpa takes off the family heirloom on his right ring finger and proceeds to put it on his grandson's left ring finger. "L- 'coughs' Listen to me grandson Owana...! I-Izabella-!" He coughs out.
"Izabella truly, and I mean truly loves you Sooo much. K-K-Keep her will you?"
"Mhm. I already planned to...." "Promise me. Look into my eyes and promise me that you will love her as much as she loves you!" Owana looks into Barons eyes and says.
"I promise you Baron." "Th-Thank you so much.... Owana................" Baron speaks his last word as he dies. "GRANDPA NOOOO!!!!" Owana screams out.

As Owana is screaming, Owana's grandpa's (Baron Menroe) body get sucked into the ring that he is wearing. "What...?" Was all Owana could get out. Then a strange green light with another strange golden light surrounding it, comes from the ring and goes to his head. "Argh!" Owana groans in pain at the sudden headache he's gotten.
"Ugh! What in the world was that...?!" Owana questions, before a strange emerald green see through screen-like thing with a bright golden glow around it appears right in front of him, about one foot away from his face. "What the hell is-!" Owana is interrupted as he hears a female voice. Izabella's voice. But as if she was in an anime.
