1am. A glass shattering broke the deep silence of the night. I jolted awake. Lights on, I got out of my bed shaking. I heard quick steps toward my room. Someone opened the door.
It was Millie. Tears were running on her pale cheeks. She was on the edge of fainting. Three words came out of her mouth : He's gonna die.
I I wasn't ready to hear that nor see that one scene that kept haunting my thoughts till this very day. He was standing there. Not him, his ghost. His eyes were so bright and bleeding. He was levitating. I just couldn't believe my eyes. I was in complete shock. My heart racing and before I could even organize my thoughts, I hid behind the coffee bar. If he saw me, he'd kill me.
My vision started blurring, my brain couldn't process anymore. Then, all of a sudden, I fell in oblivion. All I was hoping was not to encounter him. I wanted it to be a nightmare that is over now. It felt like a ball was stuck in my lungs and I was choking.
