I want to hold you until the stars die.

You are everything magical in this universe
From dreamy aurora lights to glinting nebulas
Lucky ladybugs and salvation for a sinner
Springtime youth and soft midnight hours

You taste of thunderstorms and lightning
And my fingers skid across moonlight skin
I want to meld our bones and cease breathing
And I want you to sing as I play you like a violin

You are the reveries fueling a poet's heart
No more seraphic words to cut across paper
There is no piece of my heart left to tear apart
My love on these pages, immortalised with petrichor
