B: Can you push me on the swing?

J: Yeah, sure.

*She got on the swing and he started to push her.*

J: I'm Jughead, what's your name?

B: You have a really funny name, but my names Elizabeth.

J: You have a really pretty name, but it's extremely long.

B: It's not like I chose it.

J: Same here. Do you maybe wanna be friends?

B: I don't know... There is quite a long line.

J: Okay, then... *frowns.*

B: I'm kidding Jug. Sure as long as you're okay with being friends with me.

J: Why wouldn't I be?

B: I'm not exactly liked around here.

J: Well, I like you just fine.

B: Thanks. *smiles.*

J: Can I call you Betty?

B: Yeah, I love it. Okay, but now it's your turn on the swing.

~flashback ends~

J: You're Elizabeth Cooper?

B: Surprise.

J: I don't understand, she died.

B: Elizabeth died when Blair was born.

J: I still don't get it, there was a funeral.

J: Your parents grieved for an entire year.

B: *chuckles* Now that is a good joke.

J: I'm not joking.

B: They faked my death, you idiot.

J: Why would they do that?

B: I was too much of a Wednesday Addams.

J: Did they put you up for adoption?

B: More like drove me over the Southside and left me in an alley.

J: You "died" when you were nine.

B: Point?

J: How did you live?

B: If you saw a homeless kid on the street would you give them money?

J: Yeah...

B: Ding ding ding.

J: This isn't real.

B: You actually don't believe me?

J: Not really.

B: Your sister's name is Jellybean Jones, your father is FP Jones, and your mother is Gladys Jones.

B: You've worn that stupid beanie since I gave it to you when you were 7.

B: Your birthday is October 2nd. You always got a chocolate milkshake at Pop's looks like you still do.

B: You gave me the name Betty and eventually shortened that to Betts. I called you Jug or... This will be the last time I say this, Juggy.

B: I can keep going if you'd like.

J: I just need a second.

B: Take your time.

J: How long have you known it was me?

B: Well, you're pretty unrecognizable. I didn't know until you told me your name.

J: I don't know how to react right now.

B: There's the big secret, the one you've wanted to get out of me since we met.

B: I was born a Northsider, but my parents hated me so bad they banished me to the Southside.

B: Happy now?

J: No, yes, I don't know. I'm happy you're not dead, but I'm not happy about what happened.

B: Do you still not believe me? Because if you don't go and think back about certain things Elizabeth said to you. Specifically about her parents.

J: You're actually like her.

B: Nope, I haven't been her in a long time. Legally though, yeah I am.

J: Why did you go along with it? You could've went to the police or called me I would've-

B: I didn't have a phone, I was too young to know locations to places.

B: I accepted that it was my life.

J: You weren't sad?

B: I didn't leave that alley for an entire day. I just laid there and sobbed.

B: You wanna know where that got me? No where.

B: I was on my own, crying wouldn't fix it.

J: That's why I let you in... I didn't remember, but I did subconsciously.

B: I figured that out once I knew your name.

J: You're not even wanted then. You're not a Southsider.

B: Oh no, I'm still wanted I've committed a lot of crimes.

J: I went to your funeral? And you're alive?

B: Physically yeah, but I killed her a long time ago.

B: Why'd you lie?

J: When did I lie?

B: You said you had never kissed a girl.

J: I didn't know if a kiss when I was seven counted.

B: I think you forgot about me.

J: I couldn't forget about you.

B: If you would've remembered me you would've remembered when I said I wanted to be called Betty Cooper.

J: Betty, I thought you were dead. I wasn't thinking you could be alive.

B: You still didn't remember the name. You just wondered why it sounded familiar.

J: I just-

B: I'm not mad at you, I forgot about you too.

J: Doesn't seem like it, you know practically everything about me.

B: I haven't thought about you in years. Your name made me remember.

J: I forced myself to forget.

B: I don't need an explanation. I did the same thing. You thought I was dead, but I had to pretend you were.

J: How did Malachai come into this?

B: I was homeless until I was 12. That's when he let me live with him and his roommates.

J: So you really meant he took care of you?

B: Mhm, and for that I owe him whatever he wants.

J: *looks at her*
