"Seriously, again?" I heard my best friend, Maddie, whisper in a purposeful annoyed tone. "I don't know what you're talking about," I said with a grin. My left hand pushing a strand of hair out of my eyes while my right slowly shuts the cover of my notebook. The innocent "P + D" encircled by a red inked heart slowly closing out of view. "You're obsessed." She says. "I'm infatuated." I say matter-of-factly. "There's a difference."
"Ladies?", his unintentionally seductive voice fills my ears. "Something you want to share with the whole class?", he asks strictly. "Only with you" I think quickly. "No sir, we're just really excited for todays biology lesson." I say as sweetly as possible. Maddie rolls her eyes. "Pathetic", she mutters under her breath. I give her a death glance, my eyebrows fully raised. "Well then please focus on biology instead of whatever conversation you two have going" he says back. My heartbeat slows to a regular pace. My brain firing with dirty thoughts like a machine gun. "I could sure study that man's biology... or anatomy.." we took a short quiz on horticulture, one of Mr. Rich's personal favorite studies and then were released from class. I made sure to sign a tiny heart next to my name just in case he ever read into it. As i walked past his desk to turn my page in, my hips slid past his desk and I made sure to turn around ever so slowly. For a second I was certain i saw him wink at me before I turned around and walked out the door. That man really does something to me. "Oh my god you are going to get yourself into a world of trouble!" Maddie says to me as we change the books out of our lockers. "Ha, if I'm lucky," I laugh back. "He's a grown man," she says exaggeratively. "Mads, he's 26. I'm 18. If he wasn't teaching high school it would totally be legal." "Right, huge if In there." She pointed out. I rolled my eyes and gathered the next class's papers. "Im gonna put my phone number on tonight's homework." I said with a devilish smile. "You're insane." She said back. I laughed and went down the opposite hall. How bad would it really be if I let him teach me a few things? That's what teachers are for right?
