4- rumours

„Morning."
I sit down between Mione and Fred, my eyes still half-shut.
But it wasn't just me.
The most students are still tired from yesterday.
And due to the fact that I didn't even get any answer to the morning I pressed out of my mouth, the rest of the Gryffindors are also half asleep.

I grab my coffee and then look around to the great hall, seeing that the most of the students aren't even their yet. And I believe that some won't enter the great hall before noon.

Then some people start to whisper, as Theodor Nott enters the great hall. His face is full of blood and he stumbles, trying to get to the table with the help of two other Slytherins.

„What happened to him?"
Fred looks at us in confuse, wondering what could have caused such a fight.

But I have an idea, where this could come from. Holding my breath, I just hope that it isn't because if what I think it is.

But I was right.

Five minutes later, Draco Malfoy enters the great hall, also covered in some blood, but it's much less then Theodor. Also, he can still walk straight. His eyes are searching something, he looks like he wants to find someone. His eyes glare to our table and wander, till they finally meet mine.
I silently form my lips to the words :„For me?"  , hoping he understands.
He nodds and smiles proud at me, than he walks over to the Slytherin table.

„What was that about?"
Fred is now very curious, and also some other students noticed our little interchange.
„Hmm? Nothing."
I bite into my croissant, hoping that he won't ask again.

Theodor nott was the Slytherin, who touched me yesterday. And now he got his karma. Draco helped me- again. How often does he have to do this? I try to hide my feelings and forget them, but his behavior doesn't help that.

„Hey, did you two hear the newest rumor?"
„No, what is it?"
George sits down next to me and Fred, in the common room.

„It's about Theodor nott."
„The guy who had blood all over his body this morning?"

„Yep. I mean we already knew he fighted against Malfoy, right? Turns out Malfoy was angry at Theodor because he apparently touched some girl yesterday evening. Laura overheated their fight, when she walked down to the breakfast. I wonder who this is. Must be very important to him. But that one girl - your friend y/n right?- she moved away a long time ago. Since then, no one heard about a relationship of him."

„Hmmm, oh really? Well I may have heard about someone."
Fred burst out in to laughing now and winks at me

„You see? I already told you he loves you."
„leave it."

„What?"
George looks between us two in confuse, then his eyes widen.
„Don't tell me you were the girl?"

„Apparently, I was."
„So this nott guy touched you? Good that Malfoy already punched him, I would had a hard day, if I had to do this."
Fred smiles at me while I shot him a look.

„Wait- so tell me what exactly happend?"
George was still a bit confused.

„Okay, but not here."

I close the door behind us and turn around to the Weaslys.
„Okay, don't you dare tell that anyone. I now how much you like to spread rumors. But not this one, okay?"
„We will try our best, promise."
Fred and George smile at me, not really trustworthy. But I know that they also trusted me with some stuff, so they won't use the private parts against me.
„Okay..."

„He is definitely still in love. I won't even say he never was. He always was in love with you. Just forget that mira bitch and move on, get your boyfriend. I mean yes, Harry hates him and normally I would also say that he is a big red flag-definetly a no. But- it seems he has a soft spot for you. And he is nice to you, he protects you- why not?"

„Because he already broke my heart once. No need to do that again."
