y/c had just heard about a new tenant moving into the apartments, so they figured they would make a good impression and offer to help them move in.
they knock on the door, waiting for the person inside to reply. after a minute, a short, alternative girl opens the door "oh, uh, hello?" she says, leaning against the doorframe
"hi! im y/c, i live in this complex too, i just thought id see if you guys needed any help moving in
the girl sighs and smiles a little,opening the door further "that would be amazing actually,im doing all this on my own and ive got every single room to unpack'
she lets y/c in, shutting the door behind them "well, im natalia, or nat for short,uh, how about we start in the kitchen?" she offers.
after the two finish the kitchen and living room with a bit of small talk and mtv playing in the background
"i dont think ive asked,but how old are you?" y/c asks, looking over at nat
"oh, im sixteen, seventeen in like half a year" she says,giving them a small smile
y/c smiles, knowing they could potentially make another friend their age
