12 Day 3 of 60 (Part 2)

JiHo's POV:

I take a deep breath. "I've wanted to tell you this for a long time, YuMi. I don't know how to tell you this, but..."

I was going to do it. I was going to confess my feelings to her.

"I like..." I said, taking another deep breath. "Oh, this is hard. I like... I like Jungwon."

Shiz.

"You like... Jungwon?" YuMi said, looking at me with an unreadable expression.

Why did I say that? This is worse than confessing! Now YuMi thinks I like Jungwon, even though I like her!

"Uhh..." I say, wondering how to fix this. "No! Yes! Wait..."

"JiHo, I don't want to pressure you or anything," YuMi says, "but do you like Jungwon? Be honest."

I didn't know what to say.

"JiHo?"

"Yes."

"Huh?"

"Yes, I like Jungwon."

I didn't know what to say, but I wasn't ready to confess yet.

"Ok..." YuMi says sadly.

"Let's go back in, yeah?" I say, taking her hand and dragging her into the room.

YuMi immediately went back to Jungwon, Jake and Heeseung, while I went to Ni-ki, HaRin, Nari and SuHo.

"Guys..." I say, "I just told YuMi that I like-"

"You confessed?" SuHo said, shocked.

"No!" I say, "I accidentally told her that I like Jungwon."

They stared at me.

"You- what?" Ni-ki said.

I looked down. "I made it worse."

"Yup." SuHo said, blinking. "How are you going to explain this to YuMi?"

"I... Don't know." I say.

"JiHo," Nari said, "you need to calm down. Take a break. Tell YuMi how you really feel."

"I- I can't." I say.

"Yes, you can." HaRin said.

"No, I can't. I just ruined our friendship." I say, "I told her I like the guy that she obviously likes. There's no coming back from that, I-"

"JiHo." HaRin said. "Go with your gut. You will tell YuMi how you feel, and everything will be ok."

"HaRin, it's not that easy!" I say.

What was I doing to myself? I was ruining myself.

"JiHo, I swear to-"

"Ok, both of you stop." Nari said. "What's done is done. We can't change it."

"How about," SuHo says, "you be all flirty with Jungwon and pretend you have feelings for him, then pretend that you lost feelings for him, and you actually had feelings for YuMi all along. You'll also make YuMi jealous, and she'll realize that she has feelings for you, it's perfect!"

We all stared at her.

"That's actually not a bad plan." HaRin said.

"I can see that working." Ni-ki said.
