So, as you know my name is Maddie.
Maddie Sanchez. My dad died from a car wreck when I was ten, and my mom got sent to a hospital for mental issues when I was fourteen. Ever since, I've been living with my grandparents.Yep, I've been made fun of on how I'm gonna become like my mom. Mental. And that's how my life's been since. So this is how my life is currently . . . a living Hell.
I'm seventeen and a senior. I have no friends, at all. I have no boyfriend, since I have no friends, and I'm also half Spanish. That's why learning Spanish is so easy.
I have silky, soft blonde hair that ends at the beginning of my butt, and crystal blue eyes. I'm about 5'2'ish and I have an original tan on my skin.
Yeah, I'm really pretty, but my reputation is more than my looks. I'm happy, because I don't want a boy who wants me for my looks. There's no real love in that situation.
First Day of 12th Grade
I was walking to school like every day (since I'm two blocks away from it) and I get all of my usual stares. I walk into the hallway and I get all of my pushes. People hate me, and I don't know why.
I was walking when someone ran straight into me and I fell on top of him. I managed to look at his face (since we were face to face) and I had no idea who he was.
I was astonished because he had beautiful melting brown eyes and slick brown hair. I noticed I was staring. He's obviously new.
I got up and said," Are you okay? I'm sorry."
I helped him up and he replied," I'm okay. I'm sorr-whoa."
He was staring into my eyes and I said," Enough. I'm tired of that astonished-of-your-beauty look. Bye." Look, this guy was cute too, but I'm not into a boy because of how he looks.
He looked sort of hurt, but I think he walked away. I stopped at my locker and I heard ," Hey gorgeous."
I rolled my eyes and turned around to see Logan Kennedy, my best friend since my dad died. He took a step closer and I said," Go away. Please. Go. Away."
He laughed and snaked his arms around my waist," Why? I saw that thing back there. I was mad at him for doing that. You should go out with me and I'll do something about it."
I shook his arms off of me," No, and I don't care because you only want me for my looks too. Name one thing about me, that I actually like."
He shrugged his shoulders," Don't you want a friend? A real friend?"
" I didn't ask you what I want, and I do want a real friend. But like that's gonna happen because of all the crap said about me", I said and Logan had a little hurt in his green eyes, but he had a huge spark.
He leaned forward and kissed my lips. I pushed him away softly and said lied," I gotta get a b-book in my home-homeroom class. Mrs. Gallie's cl-class."
He put his hands where I couldn't escape and he said," Please don't do that. You don't have to lie to me. Just . . . think about it, please. I don't want you because you're beautiful. You have potential, joy, and I like you because you're-"
I interrupted him," Pretty. Because I'm pretty."
He let go and I ran to the girls bathroom. I didn't have to think about it! I don't want him. I know for a fact because I don't love anybody except for my grandparents. And that's probably not going to change soon.
I heard the bell ring, so I started my way to class.
