Dylan's POV

I saw my cousin, Alyssa, talking to Maddie. I swear if she says anything bad, I'm going to go off on her.

But all I heard was Alyssa say," He told me some girl he saw, one look and he immediately fell in love."

I remembered I did say that. She was amazing, and I felt like a huge idiot by staring at her. But when I said those things about her, it made me feel like I made up for that. Then she asked me if it was true and I said yeah. Then she kissed me in front of all of the seniors.

She pulled away and saw Logan, and that's when I wanted to stop her, but I really didn't want to make her mad. That's when Alyssa showed up and started talking to Maddie.

Then Maddie replied," I don't believe you. I would've caught him saying that about me by now."

Alyssa rolled her eyes," No, about three or four years ago, he said it to his group of friends, and they told so and so, then double it over and over again. He's been trying to get you to be his girlfriend since 8th grade, and it hasn't worked. And I'm sorry for about your problems. I'm telling you now, Dylan's a good guy. He's really sweet, and every girl he's dated, he never loved them except one, but they broke up years ago when he moved to here."

Maddie said," But I thought Dylan was new?"

Alyssa said back," He came here last year. You probably never noticed him."

I walked over to Maddie and Alyssa and Alyssa said," Better leave you two alone. I don't wanna get blinded."

Maddie laughed," No, don't go. What clas do you have now?"

Alyssa looked at Maddie," Mr. Jeff Collins, why?"

Maddie laughed," So do Dylan and I. Sit near me okay I'm in the very back, okay?"

Alyssa laughed," Okay. Bye Maddie and Dyl. Treat her with respect!" She said the last part while walking off.

I fake laughed then whispered to Maddie," Why my relative?"

She put her hands on my chest and smiled," Because, she's really nice and, well . . . she's your cousin, and she can tell me some things that you won't."

I lied," There's nothing that I told her that I won't tell you."

Maddie laughed," Yeah, and I'm going on a date with Logan. That's how real you sound right now."

She walked away from me and into the hallway. I heard the bell ring, so I hurried after her. We walked into the classroom and Logan was still in the same spot. As I walked, I put my hands on Maddie's hips. She swatted my hand and sat down in her seat. Alyssa came in and sat right in front of Maddie. Maddie looked over at Logan, and then looked away.

Logan, in the middle of class, whispered," I'm sorry that I said the rumors about you, but all of it is the truth and it's never gonna change."

She stood up and yelled," I'm not the crazy psycho my mom is Logan! You're just jealous of Dylan, and you'll always be jealous!"

She ran out of the room and I looked at Mr. Collins. He nodded yes and I ran out of the room. I heard her screaming and crying in the girls restroom.
