We all are liars

It's 4:30 in the evening of January 28th 2015, a beautiful day as some may have called it. Maybe those people were just ignorant.. We were forecasted for a heavy rain storm, and very likely to get thunder. I happened to live near many trees, which is not a great mix if you couldn't tell.

I came home after school to see my dad at the door with another woman, as usual. At this point it didn't really bug me that he had been cheating on my mom. I didn't really care. So, I walk inside and the other woman leaves. I go to sit on the couch and say hi to my brother. He was about 3 years old at the time.

My dad walks into the room, he looks me dead in the eye. "What are you doing to my son, you little cunt?" as he said. I looked at him and said, "dad, he's my brother and weren't taking care of him again..".  I regret those words. I had covered my mouth to shut myself up.

My father walked up to me and started to grab my head, his hand had a extremely tight grip on me. I tried to move, but me being 5 years old didn't even have a slight chance. I tried screaming aloud for my mother, but she had walked to the store. Next thing I know, I'm being bashed into a wall. I could feel my left eye continuously being colliding into the wall. This is how I became blind. The hits I took made my eyes dent and deformed my retina.

I hated how he could get away with so much, but no one could help me if I never stood up for myself or spoke up. I stayed quiet, no matter what.
