Chapter Two - forget but not Forgive

"It's been a while since we spoke to each other. I still remember you. I still haven't forgotten what happened that day, Mitsuba."

   The light from the rising sun hit my eyes and my orange hair. I slept so well. But I should wake Tiara up soon, I must spend these final days with her. I hear footsteps coming from the living room. "Tiara?" I guess she's already awake. ''Arent you old enough to figure out what you have to wear in what weather? It's hot outside.'' Tiara is wearing jeans and a sweater, I missed when she was young and wearing dresses. Now she tells me that she isn't pretty enough to wear those. Without a word, Tiara went back to her room and loudly closed the door. ''Don't you think a 12-year-old girl should have some more manners? '' I yell. 

    I hate to admit it but I know she misses him. We are having more arguments recently and his name seems to slip out of my mouth a lot. But I'm leaving that behind soon, tomorrow I'm going to visit Nene and her boyfriend to tell my goodbye. 

      Kou is putting all the cups back into the sink to wash them. '' I'm not that much into parties, but I'd say this was fun.'' Mitsuba giggles a bit. '' I liked when we were two little boys in love, but now that we are much older it feels so real.'' They both sit on the counters and hold each other's warm hands. ''ew, why is your hand wet?!'' Mitsuba pushes Kou away. ''Maybe because I was washing the dishes??'' They stare at each other and start laughing. ''Kou, You are such a jerk!''  ''What did I do?'' 

    ''Is this good enough for you?'' This time Tiara is wearing a skirt and a big shirt. I can't make her change her clothing again, I don't want to seem rude, I still love my sister, but I just seem to take my anger out on her. ''Yeah, it's alright.'' I gesture my hand towards the door and we both make our way outside. 

    ''Hey Mitsuba, I have something to tell you.'' Kou pulls back from the kiss. ''Make it quick then.'' Mitsuba impatiently looks at Kou. But something seems offsetting, and the mood suddenly changes.  '' 2nd July, that's 4 months from now.'' He quietly speaks while looking at Mitsuba. 

   We are at the mall now, and the spring decorations have been taken off.  The clothing shops are putting up ads for summer clothing. ''Tiara, listen, we have a budget okay? Take something you think Miss Yashiro and Hanako would like.'' I sit on one of my knees and explain to her nicely. Tiara likes spending time with Nene, so staying at her house for a while makes her happy. ''Okay, big bro!'' She runs off with the money I gave her, now she seems a lot happier than she did earlier today. ''Don't get lost, please!'' I also have a few things to buy, so I should start moving. 

   ''Cant you leave a little later, please?!'' Mitsuba is on the floor begging Kou. ''What's the big fuss? It's not like I'm going to die, you can still text me.'' Kou is confused about Mitsuba's reaction. Everything seemed fine a second ago, whats up with him? ''Stop being so dramatic, Mitsuba! Didn't you hear what I said? We can still text and call each other, we are still boyfriends.'' Kou jumps off the counters and pulls Mitsuba up. ''Kou, please, you don't understand!'' ''Then tell me why you want me to stay here!'' Kou starts to get angry with mitsuba and raises his voice at him. ''I can't tell you!''

''I still wonder what he meant, what could be so important to him?''
