Chapter 1 Defending Our Home

 Training with her magic, Megan Light is finishing up her last minute training. She breaths in and runs towards her target. "Ice Dragon, Ice Pillars." Megan Light hits the target, shattering it to the floor. "Ok Megan Light, that's enough training for the day." Max said. Megan Light stops. "Don't want you to get to sore for school." Max said. "Grandpa come on school doesn't start for another three months." Megan Light said. "I know, but don't over do it Megan Light." Max said. "Ok grandpa I won't." Megan Light said. "Its time to go home anyway we don't want your parents and your brother waiting on you, would you?" He asked. "No." Megan Light shakes her head. "Come on." Max and Megan Light get ready to leave the building when a phone goes off. "Hello?" Max answers. He talks on the phone for couple minutes. "Ok thank you." Max hangs up the phone. "What is it grandpa?" Megan Light asked. "Change of plans, I need to the lab and look at something." Max said. "What about taking me back home?" She asked. "I will take you home later, wanna see what we're working on?" Max asked. "Yes I do." Megan Light nodded. Both of them head to the lab. "Ah Max you made it." Erina said. Megan Light walks through the door. "Oh I thought you took her home already." She said. "I was when you called so I brought her with me." Max said. "I'm sorry about that but it was urgent, you should look at this." Erina shows him the monitor. "What's that on the monitor, grandpa?" Megan Light looks at the video stream. "It looks like a home realm in another dimension." Erina said. "Sure seems that way." Max said. "And the teleporter is also finished." She said. Megan Light's phone starts to ring. She walks away to answer. "Hey Ben." Megan Light answered. "Megan Light when are you going to be home?" Ben asked. "I don't know at this point Ben, we were suppose to leave a little while ago and now grandpa is hold up on something." Megan Light said. "I miss you being around the house." Ben said. "I miss you too Ben, I will be back home soon I promise." Megan Light said. "Ok Megan Light see you when you come back, I love you." Ben said. "I love you too Ben bye." Megan Light hangs up the phone. Megan Light walks back to them when she hears a song. "Do you hear that song?" She asked. "What song?" Max asked. "Its kinda like a melody." Megan Light said. "Uh oh." Erina said. "What?" Max asked. The teleporter opens by itself. "What is the teleporter open?" Erina asked. "Someone overrided our system to gain access to it." Driba said. "This is not good." Max said. The teleporter starts to pull anything in sight. Everyone grabs something to hold onto. Megan Light begin to slip out her own grip. "Grandpa, I can't hold on much longer." She said. "Keep holding on Megan Light." Max said. She lost the grip of one hand. "I can't." Megan Light now lost her grip. "Grandpa!" She cried out. "Megan Light!" Max tried to reach out for her but couldn't. Megan Light got pulled into the teleporter while it closed itself. "Megan Light!" Max ran to the teleporter trying to open it. "Theres no way." Erina said. "Open this thing back up I'm going in there to get her out." Max said. "We can't."Blukic said. "We will get her back Max." Erina said. "I do explain this to my family about this." Max said.
