Sarika's Pov :

Ahana was smiling from ear to ear ever since she got to know that our company was designing for FeastFuse, her favourite food chain.

"Oh my! I'm so excited!"
Ahana shrieked, her voice was so high pitched that Paakhi who was sitting in front of me had to cover my ears. This girl is a nuisance.

"Can't you stay silent for atleast a millisecond?"
I said with a smile but but it was obviously a forced one with sarcasm coated on every single word that came out from my mouth.

"Stop being so dense, you very well know that I love FeastFuse."
Ahana frowned at me as I chuckled. Frowning at me is her favourite thing to do because that's all she can do to me.

In front of me, sat Paakhi who had a smile on her face which she usually wears. I glanced at the time on the clock and started walking as Paakhi followed me.

As I entered the conference hall, the board members and the employees stood up and greeted. I nodded at them and went straight towards my chair and signaled everyone to sit down.

"Good afternoon ma'am."
They greeted as I nodded.

As I presided over the meeting, the board members also straightened their backs. The lights dimmed and I saw something being projected on the screen. A girl who had spectacles and was thin as hell showed up. She was constantly shivering, don't know it was because of the air conditioner or she was actually scared. I just continued to look at her and waited for her to speak. She took a deep breath and started speaking.

"I came to know about interior designing about a year ago and here I am working in a prestigious company."
She spoke and I was little taken aback as this was the girl who was scared earlier but now she's fearless. She then continued her presentation showing statistics. My expressions changed as she spoke further, her innovations were not only good but cheaper as well. I dismissed the meeting and left the hall with Paakhi.

Meanwhile, Ahana chirped while walking behind me. She was again blabbering about FeastFuse.

"Ma'am, there's a meeting with the owner of FeastFuse in five minutes."
Paakhi said and I looked at her with surprise.

"Why so suddenly?"
I enquired.

"Mr Vihaan Kapoor wanted to."
She sounded a bit hesitant but I understood that she was just doing her job, I entered my cabin and turned on the Macbook.
I connected the call and I saw no one but an empty room.

"Mr Vihaan? Are you there?"
I said but there was no reply from the other side. I thought that there was no connection so I leaned in to check my internet connection but I heard a deep voice literally shouting.

"BOOOOO!!!"
I was startled so I also screamd and stood from my chair. Paakhi who was in front of me came in front just to see a man laughing there. I composed myself and again sat down. Seriously? What kind of shitty pranks is this man pulling?

"Mr Vihaan, I think you're not ready for the meeting. We should postpone it."
I said calmly even though I wanted to punch that handsome face of his through the screen.

"No no! I mean, I'm sorry, I thought you were exhausted so I wanted to cheer you up! Look at those dark circles."
Finally he stopped laughing and spoke. I gritted my teeth as he continued to speak.

"Hi! People call me the most handsome chef, not like I'm complaining though but you can call me Vihaan!"
I rolled my eyes. What kind of introduction was that? This does not look like a business meeting at all. It looked like some teenagers were face timing and one of them is too narcissistic.

"I'm Sarika Gautam, owner of Dreamsculpting, nice to meet you."
I said bluntly, though the last thing I said was a compelete lie. He was the most annoying person I ever met, no wait, he's the second most annoying person because no one can beat Ahana in this category but this man was getting on my last nerve.

"Can you please be serious Mr. Kapoor?"
I asked but he didn't even faze. Instead he had a smile on his face, a playful one. His expressions escalated quickly as he started speaking.
