chapter 2: the vet visit

Ryder scooped marshall up before turning to chase

Ryder: "Alright, chase, you're in charge," he said

Chase: "Chase is on the case," he said in a determined tone.

As Ryder was getting on his ATV, he felt something tug his pants he looked to his left and saw skye.

Ryder: "What's up?" He asked, confused.

Skye: "Can I please come with? I know Marshall is afraid of the vet, so he might need some extra support."

Ryder: "Good idea, hop on."

Skye quickly jumped on, and they sped to the vet

On their way there, Marshall kept whimpering because of the pain and skye was trying to comfort him to no avail.

As soon as they arrived, Ryder rushed Marshall in, and he was taken back into the emergency room, leaving Ryder and skye to wait.

Skye was staring at the door with a worried look.

Ryder: "Are you ok?"

Skye: "No, I'm really worried about Marshall. Usually, when he falls, he gets back up, but this time, he's really hurt, and there isn't much I can do to help.

Ryder: "You really care about Marshall, in more ways than one, am I right?"

Skyes' face went red as she threw her paw over her snout and looked at the ground smiling.

Ryder: "Skye being here for Marshall is more than enough. He'll be grateful to see you, "

Before skye could say anything, the doctor came out.

Docter: "Marshall is all patched up and ready to go,"

Marshall came limping around the corner with a cast on his arm, and before he could say anything, skye ran up and gave him a big hug.

Skye: "I'm so happy you're alright."

Marshall: "Th-thanks," he said, blushing.

Ryder: "Alright, how about we go to the store and get you a bone, Marshall?"

Marshall: "That sounds great." He said excitedly.

The trio left the vet and jumped on Ryders ATV as they were getting ready. skye grabbed Marshall's arm.

Skye: "I don't want you falling off." She said, blushing slightly

Marshall: "Thanks, skye, you're the best." He said, blushing himself.

Ryder just smiled, and the three were off to the store.
