Reansroke ran through the busy and overcrowded market, he was breathless and drenched in sweat. When he arrived outside of his home he collapsed to his knees, what he saw before him was nothing but smoke and burnt wood. An officer spotted him on the ground and hesitantly approached him and said, "You must be the owner of this house, I've been waiting here all day for you, since the fire was extinguished this morning." Reansroke looked up with tears streaming down his face, he slowly rose, cleared his throat and said, "My family was in there, what happened to them?" Confused, the officer said "There was nobody inside and we asked one of your neighbors and
he told us that your family left early in the morning with a lot of luggage and suit cases, we figured you knew they were traveling somewhere. "
"What??!! Nobody's lived in the house next to us for 10 years!! Who did you ask.. how did he look like??"
The officer nervously said, "He said his name was Tim and that he's a really good friend of you and your family. We knocked on that house next to yours and he answered. He said he lives there."
"No.. no. He doesn't live here. He's a scum who's been after me and my wife for years. This can't be happening. . I .. please officer, you have to... I don't know what to do." Reansroke who was now sobbing with his face in his hands said, "He's held a grudge against me ever since the incident and he's been constantly threatening my family."
The officer quickly lead Reansroke to his car and said, "Come on, let me take you to the police station and you can calm down and tell me everything there." The officer turned on the engine and slowly drove away. What they both failed to notice was the dark figure that was slowly crawling out from behind the debris with a satisfied sneer on his face.
