The set hummed with activity as the cast and crew prepared for the day's shoot. Pranali stood at her designated spot, going through her lines in her mind, but her attention kept drifting towards Harshad, who was engaged in conversation with a female friend from the industry.

Pranali's heart clenched as she observed their animated interaction. Harshad's laughter, the easy camaraderie-they were all directed at someone else. She had always trusted him, but today, a seed of doubt had taken root.

She shifted her gaze away, her thoughts a swirl of confusion and hurt. "Why is he acting like I'm not even here?"

As they prepared for their scene together, Pranali kept her distance, her gaze deliberately avoiding Harshad. She couldn't shake the feeling of being ignored, of being sidelined for someone else.

Harshad finally approached her, his voice gentle. "Pranali, are you ready for the scene?"

She nodded curtly, her gaze focused on the script in her hand. "Yeah, let's just get this over with."

As they began the scene, Pranali struggled to channel her emotions. The lines that once flowed effortlessly now felt like a struggle. She couldn't shake the feeling that she was merely a prop in the scene, while his attention was elsewhere.

After the director called "cut," Harshad turned to her, his brow furrowed. "Pranali, something's off. Is everything okay?"

She shrugged, her voice distant. "I'm fine, Harshad. Just trying to focus on my work."

He sighed softly, his concern evident. "It's more than that, isn't it?"

Pranali clenched her jaw, her emotions bubbling to the surface. "Well, you seem to have no trouble focusing on your friends."

Harshad's eyes widened in realization, his expression softening. "Pranali, I didn't mean to ignore you. I was catching up with an old friend, that's all."

She turned away, her voice tinged with bitterness. "Yeah, an old friend who seemed to be more important than your co-star."

Harshad reached out and gently turned her to face him, his eyes earnest. "Pranali, you're important to me. You're more than just a co-star. You're the woman I love."

She met his gaze, her anger warring with the hurt in her eyes. "Actions speak louder than words, Harshad."

His hand cupped her cheek, his touch tender. "I'm sorry for making you feel ignored. It was never my intention. You mean the world to me."

Pranali's resolve began to crumble, tears welling up in her eyes. "I just don't want to feel like I come second."

He wiped away a tear that escaped, his voice soft and sincere. "You're not second, Pranali. You're my priority."

As their eyes locked, a silent understanding passed between them. The distance that had grown was replaced by a renewed closeness-a closeness that was a testament to their love's resilience.

After the shoot they went to their apartment
