Chapter 2

*Matthew's P.O.V*
As I was steering the boat to find Y/n, I heard screaming for help. It was near, and it sounded like the person was... drowning!! I quickly steered towards the direction where the screaming was coming from.

"HELP! Someone, help!" A girl yelled.

I stopped the boat and I couldn't believe who it was!

"Y/n!! Hold on, I'm gonna help you! Stay right there!" I yelled.

"Oh! No, i think i'm gonna move over there so you CAN'T help me!!" She yelled, sarcastically.

"You know what i mean!" We both sorta panicked as i reached out my hand, but.....

*My P.O.V*
Matthew reached out his hand, I was about to grab it but a huge wave came at me with full force and made me go completely underwater, but I couldn't get back up.

In a second, I couldn't breath, I was struggling to get up and catch my breath but it was too much for me, everything started to black out. Matthew jumped in the water and grabbed me. He took me up out of the water. He hopped onto the side of the boat as he pulled me up. I was now in his arms as he carried me. I coughed out the water that was in my throat, and felt like it was in my lungs as well.

"Y/n! Oh my God! Are you ok!?" Matthew panicked as he sat me down on a chair. I cleared my throat from the remaining water.

"Umm, ahem, uhh, yea. Yea, i'm ok. Thanks, Matthew, for... For being here and helping me." I, calmly, said.

Matthew sat next to me and said, "Babe, what happened? Why-, How did that happen? Wha- what was wrong?" He looked at me as I looked at him, in regret,

"It... It was just that, with your complaining and whining and all the other things on my mind.... I just couldn't hold it in anymore." I sighed, "I'm sorry, Matthew. I didn't mean to yell/snap at you like that. Please... Forgive me."

Then he hugged me and I hugged back.

"It's ok. I forgive you, baby girl. I'll always be here to help and protect you. I.... I love you, Y/n." Matthew said as we looked at each other.

"I love you, too." Then we both went back home and watched movies while eating Nutella and different types of candy. (Yes, i'm putting Nutella. Deal with it. 😄😊)
