CHANGI BEACH. (THIRD PERSON POV)

Valkyrie, Starfire and the seven other bridesmaid's were ready and standing around the bride to be as she was given last touches to her face.

The wedding planners briefed her one last time of the arrangements of the ceremony.

Aella's dress was a long mermaid tailed dress. It was sewn with a glittering lace and an illusion fabric. This way, the lights the chapel was decorated in would reflect directly on the dress. The back of the dress was cut low to her waist.

Right now she looked like a Disney princess. Her hair was styled in a simple bun around which her diamond tiara sat. It was a pair with her wedding rings. A few loose strands fell around her face sculpting the perfect innocence and beauty of a blushing bride.

"You are by far the most beautiful bride I've ever seen" the wedding planner cheered wiping a stray tear from her eyes.

"Thank you" Aella's silky and elegant voice replied.

Brie, the loose agent ran in with trembling heels as she struggled to keep her bluetooth in her ear.

"I don't know what happened to this" she regarded the small ear piece stopping in front of her boss. From the looks of it she had received a good query this morning upsetting the million dollar bride. She stumbled over her words.

"Mrs Raven is here to see… eh… her daughter, she er…." She didn't get to finish her statement before Yosemite in an all black beautiful dress graced into the room.

Still though, black to your daughters wedding. The colors were clearly gold and magenta to a fairy themed wedding.

Starfire cleared her throat noisily and ushered the other girls out along  with the wedding planners. But Valkyrie didn't miss the unmistakable frown etched on the faces of the women they left behind. She had a feeling it wouldn't be the sweet send off speech Yosemite was gonna offer so she stayed around the room while the other girls chatted away flaunting their purses and rings at their phones smiling like bimbo's.

"What do you want?" Aella asked getting up from her vanity to face her mother. "I don't suppose you're here to kiss me or pass on some heirloom"

Yosemite smirked. "Of course I'm not, those heirlooms are way too precious for this scam of a marriage"

"With all due respect mother, I wouldn't want anything to do with any heirloom you posses. Something about bad vibes"

Yosemite didn't give a reaction but you could tell by the increased lines on her forehead that she was so close to bursting from the frown etched on her face.

"You will beg me Aella" she declared spitefully.

"No I won't," Aella tried her best not to look too affected by the confrontation. It was her mother after all. "What do you want mother?" She wanted this to end. "Nothing more than spoiling the mood on my wedding day I suppose"

"I have thought about your stupidity long and hard Aella" Yosemite took in a long breath before continuing. She wanted Aella to feel pressured, to get cold feet knowing her mother didn't support her crazy decision.

"Your father brought it to my notice that you are a Raven after all. I gave birth to you. So I have decided to give you some grace. When you've had your share of fun, when your eyes finally does open, when Declan doesn't look so much like a prince charming anymore, when you realize it was all a political game and he doesn't love you. You can come back to the family, we would be more than happy to treat your wounds and welcome you back to your senses"

Aella was trying hard not to cry. Her thick lashes did well to hide her eyes full of tears.

She was sure her father had nothing to do with such.

"Mother, I won't say I'm elated to know I'm not going to be disowned from your schemes. But there one thing I'm sure of…" Aella touched the sleeve of her mother's black dress "I don't want you anywhere near me, or my family. That will give you something to mourn for"

Aella left her mother in the room not wanting to hear another word.

When Aella rushed out wiping her eyes with a little tissue, Valkyrie was right there, a shoulder to lean on. Aella couldn't have wished for a better maid of honor, she was the friend she had always wished for. Valkyrie was kind enough not to ask what had happened yet could offer a very cozy warm hug before leading her to the limousine that would deliver them to the chapel.

The wedding was quick, the exchange of vows was simply a repeat after the priest kind of stuff. Declan couldn't hide that he was impressed with the beauty of his new bride, the priest had to feign a cough to get his hands off Aella after the 'you may kiss the bride' declaration.

Someone from the congregation had yelled, get a room while everyone clapped and cheered at the couple's display of affection.

Valkyrie noted that Yosemite didn't attend the wedding, but that was not for her to worry about as she stood with the other single ladies ready to catch Aella's bouquet. There was a little nudging and pushing but in the end, the beautiful flower fell right onto Valkyrie's hands. By then, the paparazzi were everywhere furiously taking pictures.

No doubt the name of the hot maid of honor that caught the bouquet would be everywhere on the entertainment news. No one had ever seen or heard of her before, she was something new to talk about.

ALEC'S POV.

I knew my sister always had a knack for fashion and style, but the decorations of the chapel was so over the top, it was unexpectedly beautiful. The wedding theme was fairy dust, and that's why the colors were gold and magenta with every other color you can associate with fairies. It's not like I'm interested in any of these though, but the bridesmaids.

I couldn't help but whistle, I expected that Starfire would be the hottest so my gaze was on her as she stepped out on the red carpet. Her magenta dress was revealing as usual, her sexy aura invited stares from the male part of the congregation. I could think dirty right now but I knew Starfire is both Hailey's and Aella's childhood friend. I couldn't get involved with two friends no matter what. I wouldn't want the hassle.

Some seven other beauties walked after her in similar clothing's each holding a small bouquet, some I recognized, some I didn't.

But then, there was the maid of honor, in a long flowing gold dress, it hung on her curvy features perfectly. The slit on the side revealed some perfectly sculpted long legs that stretched into a beautiful pair of glass heels. She looked so beautiful and different I couldn't even put my attention on the bride. From her elegant gait, I could tell she had her share of work out. When she walked past me smiling straight ahead at the alter where they all filed behind where Aella would stand opposite Declan, I got a perfect view of her backside, her back dress had a low cut that stopped just before her waist, she was blessed not only with hips and beautiful buttocks but also a glowing golden skin. I was mesmerized, I hadn't seen such beauty in a long time, her dark brown eyes and her long golden hair in a simple ponytail, everything about her made me want to get involved.

So even though I knew my sister would go crazy that I went after her maid of honor, I didn't car.

I wanted her, no matter the cost?

What was the cost?
