• Neteyam's pov •

After the war forest Na'vi had to suffer, Mom and Dad decided to run away, far away from home, where sky people couldn't find us. That was the best for keeping our people safe, and also ourselves, of course. Even knowing the reason of leaving, none of my siblings liked the idea, and neither did I, but as the older brother, I had to keep my complains to myself and try to keep my siblings calm too.

Why do we have to leave? It's not fair! - Lo'ak complained, angryly.

- Bro, you're acting like a 5 year old right now. You know they took Spider away, and if we risk it staying here, they could take us away too, and Eywa knows what will they do to us. - I replied, calmly looking at him while y pated his shoulder.

Lo'ak didn't really act like his opinion had changed at all, but he didn't continue talking.

- I don't want to leave home... - Tuk sobbed, and I quickly pulled her into a hug

- Oh Tuk... I'm sure we'll be able to come back someday again, don't worry. - Kiri conforted her, even though I could see in her eyes that she wanted to complain too, but she wouldn't because of tuk.

I made Kiri join the hug, and eventually Lo'ak did too.

- Nothing will happen as long as we are together, I promise - I wispered and then kissed Tuk's forhead. That made her smile a little bit.

After that chat, we all went to bed, and as I was trying to fall asleep, Kiri got into my room.

- Kiri, it's almost midnight. What are you doing here? - I told her while I sat in my bed and made some space for her to sit.

- I wanted to talk with you, you seem like the only one who I could talk to right now... - She said, sitting right next to me.

- Because of the fact that we're leaving tomorrow or thatI'm the only one awake at this time? - I asked, even if I knew the answer.

- Both - She replied, not really smiling, which made me realize this was a serious talk, and since I didn't really have any of these with any of my siblings, so I took it quite seriously.

We eventually fell asleep, at 3 o' clock, more or less. Kiri slept with me, I gave her my blanket right when she fell asleep, it wasn't too warm in my room and I didn't want her to get a cold right before the trip to our new home.

At almost 7 o' clock, mom came to wake me up, and she didn't really look surprised or upset by Kiri sleeping in my room. I got up and started to get ready, checking if I had forgotten something. I had my clothes and other stuff ready for today, so that wasn't a big of a deal, so I'd be able to do my morning calmly. As I was checking everything, I turned to see Kiri and I smiled at her.

- Morning Kiri, did you sleep well? - I greeted her

- Good morning, Neteyam. - she responded, smiling back while she stood up. - Are we leaving yet? -

- Yeah, in about 20 minutes. You should go back to your room and check if something's missing. -

- All right. - she started walkind outside my room, and I foucused on finishing packing and getting ready.

After a few minutes, we all went outside to say goodbye to everyone and for getting our Ikrans. I gave mine some fruit I picked up the day before and I prepared him to fly. No long after, we all got on our ikrans and started our trip to our new home.

After some time, I turned my head back to look at the forest for a last time { Goodbye, forest... }

Some hours went trough and everyone was already tired, and because of that, the youngest one's started to complain nonestop, which made the trip even more anoying.

- Are we there yet? -

- I want to go home -

- I'm hungry -

- I want to sleep -

I was about to tell them three to shut up, specially Lo'ak because he was the one complaining the most, but dad's voice made me get out of my thoughts.

- We're here! Please, act respectful -

He said while starting to fly closer to the ground, into a island where many Na'vi were already looking at us.

As we landed we quickly got down and walked to the middle of the circle the Na'vi made around us. I noticed my dad lifting his hands, to let people know he wouldn't atack, so I did the same as him, but my hands were lower.

As we stood there, I got to see the difference between water Na'vi and us. They had thicker arms and tails, their body was more muscular and their skin was a lighter type of blue.

As I was finding the differences, I noticed two boys get closer to us to look at us. They seemed quite important, specially the taller one, so Lo'ak and I greeted them with an "I see you", even though we knew we wouldn't get a response.

- Look at that, is that supposed to be a tail? - the shortest one said while the taller one laughed - How are they supposed to swim? -

As I didn't want to get in truble I didn't reply, but I saw how Lo'ak was getting red of rage, until a pretty girl got out of the water and my bro's eyes got all over her.

I rolled my eyes and listened to my parents conversation with the Chief and the Tsa'hik, and I noticed the Tsa'hik getting close to mom, holding her tail, then Kiri, saying we wern't real Na'vi, and finally Lo'ak, saying we had demon blood.

I couldn't stand watching her criticize my family, but dad was doing whatever he could to earn their trust, so I kept my mouth shut.

- Allright, the Sully's will stay here with us, so we'll have to teach them our ways. Treat them like babies taking their first breath. Ao'nung and Tsireya will be your guides. - the Chief anaunced, which made me feel prould of me and my siblings for not complaining at all. But there was someone that did want to complain.

- But Dad, I- - Ao'nung started, but got cut by his Dad.

- No buts, tomorrow you will start with the lesons. - He said before leaving.

- Come, I'll take you to your new home - The other girl, Tsireya, happily greeted us while helping to carry some of our bags.

However, Ao'nung didn't even want to see us, so he stayed with the short boy from earlier. While he was talking to him, he noticed me looking at them and smirked, which made me look away quickly.

{ Skxawng } I thought, while getting my stuff and walking after my family and Tsireya.

Once we got to our hut we started unpacking before a family meating. I checked my room and I quite liked it, although my old one was way better.

After the family meeting I didn't really want to do anything, so I got to my room and stayed there for a long while, trying to fall asleep, but it was hard to get used to the background sea noise and the new bed. So after failing in falling asleep, I got up and walked out of the hut.

I succeded getting out of the hut without anyone noticing, which was good, because if dad found out he would skin me. I started walking by the beach, it was quiet and peaceful, or it was, until someone screamed behind me.

- Hey, forest boy! -
