You are not alone :)

Its Saturday night, 2am ghost heard a knock on his front door. It was you crying your eyes out, he knew why. He let you enter and wrapped his strong arms around your body to make sure you felt safe.

"You need to brake up with him, y/n".

Outside pov:

You buried your face into his chest, your breath coming in ragged gasps as sobs wracked your body. Your face was tear-streaked, your eyes red and swollen. Simon held you in a silent embrace, his arms strong and steady, his hand gently stroking your hair in a soothing rhythm. He didn't say a word, just waited for you to release all the pain bottled up inside. After what felt like an eternity, your sobs began to subside. Simon finally broke the silence.

"Why did you stay with him for so long, yn?"

"I don't know..." you murmured, still nestled comfortably in his arms.

Simon's gaze bore into yours, eyes reflecting genuine concern. He was your friend after all. You could see the worry etched on his face, a mixture of sympathy and frustration.

"You shouldn't be with someone you don't truly want be with" he continued softly. "I can't force you to leave him, but i can be here for you. Ill support you through this, whatever you decide."

Simon had only met your boyfriend a few times. His name was Ryan. Dark hair, brown eyes, tall, a handsome man by most standards, but appearances could be deceiving. Simon wasn't fully aware of the turnmoil and violence simmering beneath the surface of your relationship, but he sensed something was terribly wrong. His worry had only grown over time.

You pulled away from the hug and looked up at him, your eyes searching his for confort. "Thank you for being here," you whispered, wiping the tears from your cheeks. Simon reached out, brushing his thumb gently across your face, catching the last of your tears. A heavy silence filled the room for a few moments before Simon spoke again, his voice sightly hoarse.

"You know you can reach out to me anytime. If there's ever a problem, ill be there. No matter what, okay?"

You nodded, trying to muster a smile. "I should probably go back home before Ryan starts questioning where ive been" you said, your gaze dropping to the floor, hiding the anxiety that flickered in your eyes. Simon pulled you into one last hug before letting you go. "Don't forget, you can call me anytime, darling" he said his voice filled with warmth.

You froze for a second. Darling? He had never called you that before. A wave of confusion washed over you, but it quickly faded, replaced by a gnawing sensation of dread. You were heading back to your boyfriend's, and anxiety was taking over.

As you approached your front door, you felt a heavy weight in the pit of your stomach. You took a deep breath and slowly opened it. To your relief, Ryan was asleep. You tiptoed to your side of the bed, careful not to wake him, and laid down, desperately willing yourself to sleep.

The next day...

You woke up alone, as usual. Ryan was gone at work, you assumed, though he could be anywhere. Sometimes, you wouldn't see him for days. He claimed it was work, but you knew better. You had seen the messages, the explicit photos from other women. His phone had betrayed him once, left carelessly unlocked on the kitchen counter. You had been furious then, but you loved him, and somehow, you had convinced yourself to forget.

The day stretched out endlessly, a monotonous blur of loneliness and waiting. You considered calling Simon, but you didn't want to burden him with your problems. He had said he'd always be there for you, but you didn't want him to think you were too weak to handle it on your own.

Time passed slowly.

By 9pm you heard the familiar sound of Ryan's footsteps. He was back. Was that good or bad? He barely acknowledged you with a curt "Hey how are you?" He says not waiting for a response. You felt the hollow ache in your chest deepen.

Simon's pov:

I was lounging on my couch, half watching an action movie. I glanced at the clock - 10:30pm Damn, is it that late already ? I thought. I had work early in the morning. I grabbed the remote and turned off the TV, rubbing my eyes as i stood up. I picked up my phone on the table beside me, the light of the screen burned my tired eyes, as my gaze read the notifications a surprised look appeared on my face. It was three messages from yn.

"Please can you come right now"-10:25Read

For a moment, i froze, my heart pounding. I quickly snapped back to my senses, grabbed my car keys, and rushed out the door. I drove like a madman to yn's house, my mind racing with worry. As i approached, I could hear yelling and the sound of things being smashed inside.

Yn's pov:

A sharp knock echoed through the chaos, cutting through Ryan's shouting. He stopped mid sentence, glaring at you with a look that chilled you to the bone.

"Go on, open the door" he ordered, his voice low and threatening.

Your hands trembled as you approached the door. You heart was pounding down hard you thought it might burst from your chest. You opened it slowly, revealing Simon standing there, his face a mix of concern and determination. I glanced back at Ryan. His expression was murderous, a silent threat hanging in the air: say one word, and youre dead. You tried to smile, to pretend nothing was wrong, but the fear was obvious in your eyes.

"Are you alright yn?" Simon asked gently, his eyes never leaving yours.

"Yeah...im fine," you lied, barely above a whisper, keeping the door half closed between you.

Simon's brow furrowed in confusion. "Your texts said you needed help, that Ryan was acting weird. "Do you still need me?" He whispered, leaning closer, trying to read your face. You glanced back at Ryan again, desperate, hoping Simon would understand. "No...im okay. Don't wor-" Before you could finish, Ryan appeared behind you in the doorway, his face a mask barely contained rage. "What's going on here?" he demanded with a weak fake smile.

Simon's expression turned icy as he looked at Ryan, his body tensing. His eyes flicked between you and your boyfriend, the situation becoming clearer by the second. His face hatdened with a wold fury.
