Have you ever been here before?
To feel the breeze in your hair
And have it blind you
Just as love has?

Have you ever been here?
To hear the water crashing down bellow you
Before the sound of you falling becomes one with the sound of the water
And the rush the falling gives is stronger than any rush you've gotten from falling in love?

Have you ever been here?
To see the stars peeking from between the trees as you lay on the ground
Stars that shine brighter than your eyes ever have
Except for when you're with me?

Have you ever been here?
To be overwhelmed by the smell of salt
And be wary of the jellyfish
Who's sting is weaker than that that occurs whenever we touch?

Have you ever been here?
To see everything that can be seen
And have your breath taken away
Just like what happens when I see you?

Have you ever been here?
To see the vast emptiness
And the clearness that comes with
The same as when you make your way towards me?

Have you ever been here?
To watch the sunset that glows the same colour as your hair
And watch the moon rise
Dim in comparison to your smile?

I know you've been here before
To rest your head against my shoulder
To hold my hand and kiss me softly
To make our own breath taking
Bright
Clear
Exhilarating
Blinding
Beautiful
