9. The Aftermath

3rd Person POV

Z's face dropped, he looked at Tyler, he had passed out. "W-when?" Z looked at the doctor "As soon as we can, currently the rupture is bon-fatil, but the longer we wait to get him in, the higher the fatality risk is" the doctor paused for a second, looking at his clipboard "Sadly, this procedure is not covered by government health care, so the cost will have to be out of pocket" the doctor looked down at his clipboard again "how much will it cost!" Looking at his unconscious boyfriend "The procedure will cost $16,642 in total" Z nodded and looked back at the doctor "That shouldn't be a problem, when do you think he will go in?" The doctor looks do at his clipboard once again "Sometime within the next 1-5 hours" Z let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you" Z looked over at the sleeping male "can I stay here until he goes in for the procedure?" He looked back at the doctor "I don't see there being a problem with that" the doctor then walked out of the room.

Z looked at the other male, who was still asleep, and gave him a worried look. He let out a low sigh "I-i'm sorry" his voice cracked as he looked down at the hospitalised male "i-" he was interrupted by a choked sob "I should've been faster... You wouldn't have gotten hurt this bad if I was faster!..." He grabbed Tyler's had and held it, looking down at the ground, crying to himself quietly, not wanting to wake Tyler. Z looked up again, whiping his tears with his free hand "I'm sorry..." He whispered as he looked up at the ceiling. He felt a wave of exhaustion take of him. His eyelids felt heavy, he closed them and fell asleep holding the injured male's hand.

Tyler woke up around an hour later to see his sleeping boyfriend beside him. He squeezed Z's hand slightly. He turned to the door, watching as the nurse brings 4 people in. The room was soon filled with the 4 you girls saying "What happened" or "Are you ok?" Tyler answers, trying to quiet the girls. The girls suddenly stopped talking, giving Tyler a surprised look "Tyler..." Mai started "Yeah?" Tyler gave her a weird look "Why is THE Aaron Z in you Hospital room?!" Tyler's face dropped. "AND IS HE HOLDING YOUR HAND?!"  Abby shouted with a surprised ronet, pointing at the two male's hands. Tyler panicked a bit when he saw Z starting to wake up

"What's wrong, Cutie?" Z asked, unaware the girls were there "CUTIE!?!" They all shouted in unison. Z turned quickly to look at the 4 girls then turning to Tyler to say something, but was interrupted "i-uh he-um-" Tyler turned to look at Z, see gave him a "d'you want me to tell them" kind of look, Tyler noded in response.  Z looked at the girls, then back to Tyler "you sure?" He whispered "What else can I say 'oh, he came with the room' they definitely won't believe that" he whispered back. Z sighed, nodding to show that he understood.  The girls looked at the two males with anticipation "Well, you see..." Z looked at Tyler again, receiving a nod "I am... Tyler's boyfriend" he said the second part quietly. The girls stood there in shock "YOU'RE WHAT!?"
