Falling for the Football Players

Chapter 4

They arrived at the diner to see Bucky and Clint standing outside waiting on them. Clint had his hands stuffed into his pockets, leaned against the building, standing close to Bucky. Bucky grinned, waving at Steve and Tony, turning to sign to Clint 'you ok with telling right?' Clint gave him a small smile and a nod, pushing off the building, giving Tony and Steve his own wave.

Steve smiled, "Hey buck." He greeted. 'Hey, Clint' he signed. Bucky just grinned. "Hey Stevie". Tony waved, signing rapidly to Clint 'spent the night huh?' he asked. Clint flushed and shrugged, leaning more into Bucky's space.

"Hungry guys?" Steve asked, signing as well. Bucky nodded, unconsciously wrapping an arm around Clint's shoulders.

'Oh, you did something last night huh? What was it?' Tony tilted his head as he signed, a soft smile on his face. Clint smiled 'He kissed me.' He signed 'And asked me out' . Steve grinned. "I'm happy for you Buck"

Tony gasped, his face breaking out into a beaming smile. 'Really???!!' He started signing rapidly, not even trying to go slow enough for the other two to understand. 'Was it good? Did you only kiss? What happened?' he asked back to back.Steve raised an eyebrow at Tony, smiling fondly.

Clint laughed 'Amazing, only kissing, and we just went to sleep cuddling' he explained as they sat down in the diner. Tony bounced a bit in place, his bright grin firm on his face. Bucky chuckled as he watched, kissing Clint's temple. Clint pressed closer instinctively. 'I really like him' he signed.

"Got any details to spill?" Steve teased, he and Bucky in their own conversation. 'Good!' He smiled. 'Is he a good kisser?' He teased, turning to stick his tongue out playfully at Steve. "I'm getting the deets" Tony told him. Steve snorted out a laugh, rolling his eyes fondly.

'Fucking amazing' he replied with a dreamy sigh. Tony stifled a giggle, leaning close. 'I'm so happy for you' he insisted. 'I wish he,' he paused to flick his eyes at Steve so he didn't have to use his sign 'had asked me out.' Tony complained. Bucky Smiled softly, kissing his temple again at the soft sounding sigh. Clint's eyebrows raised ' You're not dating yet?'

Tony pouted 'I don't know?' He shrugged 'he hasn't asked me or anything' he said. 'Wired, Steve doesn't seem like the friends with benefits type' he replied, side eyeing steve. To which the other blonde just raised an eyebrow.

'I don't know, Clint. I'm very jealous. But extremely happy for you!' He sighed wistfully. 'Maybe he's just new to all this' Clint suggested, taking a bite when their food arrived. 'Yeah, probably' he sighed again, biting into a fry. Bucky watched the two silent teens, head tilted.

'Want me to ask Bucky to talk to him?' Clint signed quickly.

Steve looked at Bucky. "I don't think we want to know" he laughed. Bucky shrugged, sucking on his milkshake, tucking Clint closer. Tony sighed. 'I don't know, Clint. I don't know if it'll help and I'm almost afraid to find out it's a no'

'You don't see the way he looks at you, Tony. Maybe he's afraid your answer would be no' He paused eating to sign.

"Everything...okay?" Steve asked slowly, frowning a bit. 'Possibly' Tony looked thoughtful for a moment before giving Tony a warm smile. "Everything's good" he replied. "Okay." Steve nodded, smiling, going back to eating.
